He’s a great actor, but sometimes it’s hard to be in close proximity to Leonardo DiCaprio. He only bathes or showers twice a week, and he won’t wear deodorant because he considers it unnatural. Some of his colleagues have told us that he sometimes smells like a homeless person.

The 37-year-old actor and environmental crusader avoids underarm deodorant and daily showers in his bid to help save the planet – but his personal environment has completely turned off his gorgeous galpal, model Erin Heatherton, say sources.
The star desperately needs to clear the air with the 23-year-old beauty, who is also nauseated by his abbreviated bathing schedule, according to insiders.
“Leo has let his love for the environment take over his whole world, and it’s killing his love life,” a friend told The ENQUIRER.
“He only showers a couple of days a week to conserve water, and he considers deodorant to be ‘unnatural.’ ”
“Erin has warned him to clean up his act AND his hygiene,” said the friend.
As if that’s not bad enough, Leonardo’s dog and house also stink.
Leo has a French bulldog named Django whose digestive system is so messed up that he farts constantly. Leo is used to the smell. However, both Armie Hammer and Carey Mulligan refuse to fly with Leo if he brings his dog on the plane because that much gas in an enclosed environment is unbearable.
And because Leo is such an ardent environmentalist, he lets the recyclables pile up in his kitchen. His friends complain that the smell inside his house is unbearable if he misses the recycling pick-up days.
