Why, yes we did! And here’s a fun fact for you: the last story just happened to have taken place at the EXACT same time and the EXACT same location as this story! Our TV Guy is nothing if not consistent.

Despite his seemingly boundless energy, TV Guy really shouldn’t stay out so late. After all, a lack of sleep could lead to a case of the sniffles.

Drunkster Jimmy Fallon is at it again!

If you read Blind Gossip regularly – or if you are one of the people who have witnessed his drunk, bumbling, stumbling antics at 3:00 am on a weeknight at various New York City bars – you already know that late night host Jimmy Fallon has a serious problem with the bottle.

Of course, his network is denying it. From The New York Post:

NBC worried Jimmy Fallon’s boozing got ‘out of control’

Jimmy Fallon was warned to cut back on his boozing by NBC chiefs following a series of bizarre late-night accidents, according to multiple insiders.

An NBC insider said of the funnyman, “There were fears that Fallon was out of control and something could happen while he’s out drinking. Things got so serious at one stage that execs feared that Jimmy was splitting up with his wife over his drinking, but they patched things up.”

jimmy-fallon-2The beloved “Tonight Show” host’s recent allegedly alcohol-aided antics include tripping on a rug at home and nearly severing his ring finger on a table in June 2015. Then he chipped his tooth “trying to open medicine for his injured finger” a few months later. In October 2015 he cut his hand on a bottle of Jägermeister. In September of this year a “very drunk” Fallon was seen alone at an NYC punk bar at 3 a.m, which sparked more NBC concerns.

Another Fallon source said, “He is a heavy drinker. He sees himself as somebody who needs image rehabilitation.” But, we’re told by another friend, “He knows he needs to be responsible. He has two kids. He has cut back on his drinking.”

The first source said that, while Fallon’s show is No. 1, a few key staff members have left to work for CBS rival James Corden.

“Fallon is insanely jealous of Corden,” the source continued. “There’s been some upheaval, and Jimmy hasn’t handled it well. He’s at the top of his game, but he’s insecure.” Fallon has parted ways with his longtime publicist and just hired Brad Pitt’s crisis p.r. manager.

But Fallon has the full backing of NBC, and his contract was extended to late 2021.Bob Greenblatt, chairman of NBC Entertainment, told us, “Jimmy is one of NBC’s biggest assets, and we’re extremely proud that ‘The Tonight Show’ continues to be the late-night leader in all metrics, including ratings and social-media awareness. He’s in a class by himself, and we’re also looking forward to him hosting the Golden Globes in January. As a producer and star he delivers over 200 hours of television a year, and any suggestion that we have concerns about his behavior or have given him any kind of ‘warning’ is completely false.”

He delivers 200 hours of television a year! He can’t have a drug or alcohol problem! He’s beloved! Nothing to see here! Move along!

My, the denial runs deep with these people.

Notice that nobody is mentioning Jimmy’s little sniff sniff problem. That’s a whole ‘nother unfunny ball of wax.

By the way, the bar that we were talking about in the original blind item (and that is simply called a NYC punk bar in the article) is Manitoba’s.

It’s located in the East Village and is one of Jimmy Fallon’s favorite bars for late night drinking… and bathroom sniffing.

    Hey NBC exec’s-take a look at Tom Shillue on Red Eye at 3A.M. on Fox. Clean cut family man and funny as hell. Fallon needs to go to rehab and deal with his issues.

    Mr.Jimmy “SnifflesO.G.” Fallon is up to it again, same month and date and time, why because he has to be in the news at least once a year, the network requires it, It’s on his contract that he has to be a drunksnifflessunfunnycomedian or he gets fired, (Supposedly)

    He won’t stop until he is ready. Right now he’s being adored and enabled by stars are other celebrities, so he doesn’t think he has a problem. I don’t even think a divorce would wake him up because he seems to enjoy living the party life of a single. NBC won’t step in as long as he’s getting guests booked and making them money. Being a celeb, he’s not likely to get arrested. Sadly, it may come down to an overdose.

    Jimmy Fallon. I say leave him alone as long as he is doing his job. We don’t know that he’s an alcoholic or drug addict. He’s wealthy, living in NYC at the top of his game, and he’s going to drink. Lots of people are functioning alcoholics. It would be good if he could at least get to that point. Eventually his health will force him to slow down or stop.

    Apparently I am the last to know about Jimmy Fallon. I really thought he was a nice, family guy. Celebs always talk about what a great guy he is but I guess their measure is different from ours.

    I’ve been over him for awhile but when he playfully tussled Trump’s hair like he was a harmless school boy that was the last straw for me. Will never watch his show again and hope he gets fired. (Haha, fired!)

    Jimmy Fallon. I don’t understand why NBC hasn’t lowered the boom since his OTT behavior hasn’t improved. Actually, I’d rather see Seth Meyer in that job. He’s more urbane (& mature!)

    Well, Howard Dean would love for this to be Donald Trump but this has to be Jimmy Fallon. Trump doesn’t even drink let alone do any illicit drugs despite Dean’s mean tweet the other night.

    Whatever makes him stop will be something big because I think he’s surrounded by enablers and people covering up for him… so when the sh*t hits the fan and it’s too big a mess to clean up… that might be when he stops.

    I can’t even watch his show anymore. Sometimes he’s ok, other times I’m suprised he’s upright.

    Jimmy Fallon. The sniffs refer to his cocaine habit. He’s going to crash, and in a serious way. All the people who keep saying, ” can’t a guy have fun, a few drinks is no big deal” are going to be reeling. I find it very sad. It’s like watching a slow motion train wreck.

    I think the only reason Fallon is thus far getting away with it is because his personality is already kind of odd and goofy. But I have noticed his voice being hoarser and just an all a out departure from what I remember him being like. What an insult to Conan.

    Clue: The guy in the picture is banged up and Jimmy has injured himself a couple times while intoxicated.

    So many clues, too: 1) photo looks a little like him; 2) Multiple injuries over last couple of years; 3) “sniffles”, he had been watching the debates, where the Orange Idiot kept sniffing; 4) wife and small kids.

    I like Fallon. I hope he’s not an alcoholic.

    Jimmy Fallon was spotted partying until 3am after the debate on Monday night.

    I think it would take him losing everything. His show, his wife, his kids, and his celebrity friends before he will ever clean up. He doesn’t think he has a problem and he surrounds himself with enablers. As long as that continues, so will the alcohol and substance abuse.

    Jimmy Fallon – he partied it up after the debates until 3am according to sources at the bar. He danced, made the bartender hook up his phone to the sound system and played 90’s music. Apparently, he rejected photo requests that night from fans at the bar.

    It makes me really sad because I absolutely love him. It’s sad that so many “funny” people have such problems with drinking/drugs. Sigh. I don’t know how the hell they are doing to work rehab into HIS show! 🙁

    Jimmy Fallon. He is ruining his life and will have a very public fall. Or, his wife will just divorce him and he can be drunk divorced dad with a drug problem and just keep on hosting the Tonight Show until he steps over the line finally too far with his NBC bosses. I think they will protect him until a new comic emerges to take his spot, and that is going to be really embarrassing for him.

    Probably Jimmy Fallon? I suppose as long as he shows up and does his job, no one is going to do anything. His wife could leave and the network could lean on him, but if he’s doing his job, she and the network both get the $$$ he generates. It would be amusing, though, to see him crash and burn live, on air, and be hauled away to rehab.

    optional: he’d have to lose his job & get dragged the public ringer for starters. i think most the general public think he’s adorable & witty. possibly lose his family. he hasn’t hit anywhere near rock bottom (as far as has been reported/rumored). even then who knows? i feel bad for his family.
