Pregnancy announcement: It’s Nick Lachey and Vanessa Minnillo!
Singer/Actor Nick Lachey, 38, and TV Host Vanessa Minnillo, 31, are expecting their first child! Vanessa – who changed her name to Vanessa Lachey just a few days ago – is at the end of her first trimester.
Nick and Vanessa (who describes herself as a “host by day, wifey by night, wanna-be mommy all the time” in her Twitter profile) recently bought a huge 18-bedroom home in Encino, California. The couple, who have been married for six months, have spoken publicly about their desire to have a child, and we are delighted that their dreams are now coming true. One bedroom down, sixteen more to go!
Coincidentally, Nick Lachey’s first wife, Jessica Simpson. is due to give birth to her first child any day now.
Nick and Vanessa should be announcing the news next week. Frankly, it should be sooner rather than later, as the famously trim Vanessa is running out of excuses for wearing baggy clothes!
