[Blind Gossip] This actress loves to be in the front row at New York Fashion Week. Not a surprise, given that she is famous and regularly attends fashion shows.
She also likes to bring her dog with her.
Someone made the mistake of going in to pet the dog… and nearly got their finger bit off as a result!
[Actress] didn’t even bother to apologize. Instead of disciplining her dog, she gave a dirty look to the woman who tried to pet the dog!

[Optional] Whose fault: The Actress, the Petter, or the dog?
PizzaDog says
A dog that bites people is aggressive. I don’t care how small or cute a dog is, if it’s aggressive, it has no business being at a fashion show, or even exposed to strangers at all for that matter. That said, people should always ask before petting. My dog is a sweetheart but is in chronic pain, and there are only a few areas of her body that aren’t painful to the touch. She would never bite but flinches with pain instead. ?
riotdontdiet says
You wouldnt touch someone’s child jist because, the same rule applies to dogs. If the dog bites you its not the owner’s fault.theyre not there to be pet by strangers.
abetty98 says
No clue, but that is such a cute dog!
prinny says
I have a little dog that is a biter, so I speak from experience (don’t yell at me, she is a rescue, damage was done!;0) Actress and petter both at fault. I don’t bring my dog anywhere there will be lots of people. If someone comes to my house, or we are out for a walk, I warn everyone and everything that gets near her that she will attempt to bite their finger off if they try to pet her. Some people still insist “I am great with dogs”, do it, get bit, I discipline the dog for bad…
JohnnyDerpp says
Dogs used as accessories. What a pathetic attempt to seem down to earth.
Mannx4 says
Agree – you don’t pet dogs without asking first. Although, you probably shouldn’t bring a dog to a public setting if you know they’re bitters either.

KELLY OSBORNE TOOK HER DOG TO NYFW
lek983 says
No idea who the actress is but it’s the “Petter”‘s fault. Never pet a dog without permission.
elphie says
I’ll go with Kelley ‘its all about me’ Osbourne… plus she has a little Pomeranian (not the nicest dogs)
heyitsjustme says
I don’t know or care who it was, but if the person didn’t ask to pet the dog first then they deserved to get bit.
bobbybatshit says
Don’t pet a dog without permission from the owner. That’s 101.
songbird81 says
Depends. Did the person ask to pet the dog and got consent, or just went to pet without asking? If the latter, it’s that person’s fault. You don’t pet a dog without asking the owner.
artistsnow says
Kelly Osbourne.
How rude. Kelly I mean. Not the dog.

Parker Posey
Don’t pet a strange dog without asking, not every dog wants to be petted.

She’s at fault, her dog should be better trained.
NewfieinBC says
Parker Posey
Always ask the owner of you can pet their dog. It’s just proper dog etiquette.
It’s like someone touching your kid without asking…you would expect your kid to tell the stranger to back off. The dog is just doing the same.
stillmb says
Not a clue who would be stupid enough to bring a dog to a fashion show.
But you don’t reach out to pet someone’s dog without asking permission, so in this case the petter is at fault. The dog was probably nervous & in protective mode.
MikeInSanJose says
Actress: Another clueless, self-absorbed bimibo, oblivious to the rest of the world.
Fault – plenty to go around. The dog behaves the way it’s been brought up. Just as likely to have snapped out of fear as out of anger.
Actress shouldn’t be taking an animal that skittish out around other animals (humans) until it can handle itself in public.
Petter should never approach an unfamiliar animal, at least not without checking with the dog’s handler if it would be ok to pet the dog.
eryncuz88 says
Parker Posey?
Optional: I’m actually going to side with the Actress on this one. A person ought to know better than to pet a strange dog without asking first!
Moonpie says
Actress: Kelly Osbourne
It’s the petter’s fault. You always ask first before petting any dog. Period. It’s understandable if they are cute and one has the urge to do it, but you shouldn’t.

Don’t know who this is but seems stupid on both their parts. Why bring a dog to a fashion show? Also I knew at 5 years old not to touch an animal without the owner’s permission first. This dog’s reaction is exactly why.
PatioPrincess says
No one should ever touch a pet without the owners permission for this exact reason. Actress did nothing wrong. The petter should have known better.
thelasthigh says
both women are at fault. don’t bring your dog to events unless the dog is invited. it’s also inappropriate to pet other people’s animals without asking.
cerulean.blue says
Kelly Osbourne

Dunno. But totally the Petters fault. Only pet a dog after receiving the owner’s permission. The answer to the question, “Does s/he bite?” Is- “ALL dogs bite.”

Parker Posey
pigerella says
Actress: I’m going to guess Parker Posey as I just googled a pic with her dog this year at the Rachel Comey show a few days ago.
Whose fault: well, definitely not the dog. I would say both the Petter & Parker Posey. First, you should know better than to pet any dog -o matter how friendly they look – w/o asking the owner’s permission. I think it was rude of Parker P. to not say anything, as well as bring a dog to the fashion show. Some places are inappropiate & I think this is one of…
Molly7111 says
Actress: Kelly Osbourne
Didn’t realize she was classified as an actress till I checked her IMDB
TeacherKat says
No idea.
But it’s both their fault. Don’t bring a dog that snaps/bites like that to such places, and never try to pet a dog without permission from the owner. The dog is faultless – it’s only doing what it knows how to do/been taught.
fishfish123 says
Not sure if she’s considered an “actress”, but Kelly Osborne?
I think it’s a combination of the actress and the petter. The petter should never tried to pet the dog without permission and the actress shouldn’t have brought her dog to NYFW if it has aggression towards people.
HotTea says
Don’t who this is about but the petter got what she deserved. You aren’t supposed to pet a strange dog you don’t know. Just because a dog is cute doesn’t mean it is friendly. The actress is right
luvprue1 says
It’s also very rude to pet a stranger’s dog. Not all animals like to be touched. Respect their space.
Raoul Duke says
Susan Sarandon and Penny
Not the dog’s, I didn’t think Susan was snotty like that…I guess I should. Still you shouldn’t just try to pet a dog without permission or gauging how friendly the dog is. But also, why would she want to bring a dog that clearly is not friendly to social settings? Everyone likes to coo over pets.

I Am PunkA says
Bummer. I wish the dog had bit the finger so they could sue the B* actress. If you have a dog that snipes in public, keep it home until it is trained not to.
Fault is with the Actress completely. Pet owner always bears the responsibility.
Dancing with Mr D says
You are absolutely right, and I’m surprised at how many disagree. Totally the pet owner’s responsibility.
If you have your dog out in public, it better be people-friendly.
If my 65-lb dog were to do that, everyone would have a * fit.
luvprue1 says
If a stranger come over to you and try to touch you out of the blue, you mean to tell me you wouldn’t snap at them? Just because the dog doesn’t like being paw my strangers doesn’t necessarily mean they should have to wear a muzzle. However it do mean that people should at least introduced themselves before going in to pet a stranger dog. It’s rude.
daisydo says
I agree..if the dog is snippy don’t bring it to the event. I am 100% sure it would rather be at home in bed or playing somewhere..not stuck in a bag.
riotdontdiet says
Wishing someone gets sued for a little dog bite is cruel. You have no idea the unnecessary headache and stress that comes with getting sued. I worked at a firm and i couldnt believe the bullshit people sued for. Some folks lost everything . Americans just love to file lawsuits over petty shit.
mkc333 says
Parker Posey?
Definitely the petter’s fault. You should never reach toward a dog without asking the owner if it’s okay first. And really, do you randomly touch other people you don’t know without asking? No, that would be weird, creepy, and upsetting.
basketballgrl says
SJP?
Rosiejuliemom says
No idea as to the actress, but both the Actress and the Petter are at fault. While you shouldn’t try to pet a dog without knowing it’s temperament, an owner should either warn people to keep some distance or leave the dog at home.
Nataliexyz says
I agree you should never try to pet a dog without permission, but the dog may bite someone anyway, if it is a biter. A dog that is known to snap/bite should be muzzled when in public.
KlaireBear says
Don’t know who it is but I never pet a dog without permission
SpareRun says
Parker Posey? She often takes her dog to shows.
Optional: People shouldn’t pet a strangers dog without checking first that it’s okay. But, the actress should have apologised or at least acknowledged what happened.
