Who was the first to tell you that Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon were living apart? That’s right: It was BlindGossip.com, who published this very obvious blind item the first week of May 2014!

Now Nick Cannon himself has confirmed our blind item! The New York Post:

Nick Cannon: Mariah and I have been living apart ‘for a few months’

Nick Cannon is coming clean about his flailing relationship with Mariah Carey.

After Page Six exclusively reported that the couple of six years are headed for a split and living separately, Cannon confirmed that his marriage is on the rocks.

“There is trouble in paradise,” Cannon, 33, told The Insider on Thursday. “We have been living in separate houses for a few months.”

“He hasn’t been staying at their home,” a music insider told Page Six. “He’s been living out of hotels. They’re fighting a lot.”

Another source told us Carey, 45, has suspected Cannon of cheating. And when the comic hosted pool parties in Las Vegas earlier this year, the songstress hired security to keep watch over her husband.

But Cannon denied that the couple’s separate living arrangements have anything to do with infidelity.

Cannon and Carey married in 2008. In 2011, they became parents to twins Moroccan Scott and Monroe, whom they affectionately call “dem babies.”

Note that the NYPost source says, “He’s been living out of hotels,” but Nick Cannon himself said, “We have been living in separate houses for a few months.” Cannon may be staying in a hotel now, but when we wrote the original blind item in May, he was living in a second, smaller property owned by Mariah Carey in New York City. Mariah, of course, is living in her huge New York City triplex.

The ex-girlfriend we mentioned has not been Cannon’s only visitor. Nick Cannon is a player! There have been several women with whom he has fooled around while married to Mariah. He can deny all he wants “that their separate living arrangements have anything to do with infidelity,” but we are telling you that they have everything to do with his infidelity!

Naming the ex-girlfriend wasn’t part of the original blind, but we will give you a hint as to her identity. She is in the entertainment industry… and it is not Kim Kardashian (despite what other reports are saying).
