This actor’s marriage is breaking up. Want to know why? Of course you do!

It’s because he has almost exactly the same issues as his famous brother: He just can’t keep it in his pants!

Our girl has gone to extreme measures to try to get him help for his zipper problem, but his zipper seems to be permanently stuck in the open position.

At least our girl will find a sympathetic ear in the brother’s ex. In fact, watching how well she handled her situation with the brother is what gave the wife the confidence to finally pull the plug.

Casey Affleck began his acting career playing the townie pal of Ben Affleck and Matt Damon in Good Will Hunting.

Casey Affleck was good friends with actor Joaquin Phoenix.

Casey Affleck started dating Joaquin’s sister, Summer Phoenix.

It turned into a long relationship… but not a good one.

Supposedly, they started dating in 2000, got married in 2006, separated in 2015, announced their separation in 2016, and filed for divorce in 2017 or 2018 (depending on which reports you believe). The divorce was finalized just a few weeks ago, in June 2019. They have two children together.

In any case, Casey Affleck has the same problem as his big brother, Ben Affleck. He just can’t keep it in his pants. There were so many rumors of his cheating that we can’t count them all.

He also has the added bonus of being sued by two women in 2010 for sexual harassment and assault.

While Casey was directing Joaquin Phoenix’s fake documentary I’m Still Here, he allegedly instructed crew members to flash their privates at the female producers and  crew. He withheld one woman’s pay when she complained about him. He referred to women as “cows,” and described his sexual exploits with celebrities in vulgar terms. He also allegedly grabbed a woman, tried intimidating other women into sleeping with him, and even crawled into bed with one of them while he was drunk.

Keep in mind that he was the director of the project. And married.

So, take your pick of drinking, cheating, harassing, or assaulting for your favorite Casey Affleck vice!

Casey Affleck eventually paid out millions of dollars in settlements to multiple women on the project.

Of course, he continued to proclaim his innocence. He said the women were just picking on him because he is famous.

Riiight.

We can’t imagine why Summer Phoenix didn’t want to stay married to this lovely, sober, temperate, respectful man.

It is interesting to note that Casey and Summer announced their separation just four months after Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner announced their separation.

Watching how Jennifer handled her separation from Ben gave Summer a solid – and dignified – blueprint to follow.

    I just read that Casey Affleck has an 8 year old and 12 year old son. Way to break up the family Casey. Guys: if you want to have sex with whoever you want, it’s called an ‘open marriage’. You tell your partner that *when you meet*. Anything else is just pure selfishness.

    I told my husband before we married that all I ask is to know beforehand if he wants to be with someone else so I won’t be blindsided. He promised, and I promised him I’d be open minded should it happen. He’s never been interested.

      I should mention that I’ve repeated the offer periodically (when I had cancer, had lots of surgery preventing sex, lived where prostitution was legal and he could hire a pro) and he’s said love matters more than sex.

      I read an article recently about this that had tons of comments, many of them by men. At least half of the men commenting said they need to have an emotional connection with a woman in order to want to have sex with her. They don’t just want casual sex or an open marriage. It was enlightening to me as a woman because I always assumed that *most* men want sex for mainly physical reasons. I think men and women aren’t as different as we think.

    Optional: That would depend on the circumstances…I can imagine in some cases I would at least try to forgive (we have four kids together, that’s a whole lot of reasons to try and work it out), but like I said, it would depend on the circumstances.

    This is Casey Affleck and Summer Phoenix (both with more famous siblings, hence the “famous names” clues).
    Apparently infidelity is in the Affleck genes.
    As for the optional question, I don’t think I’d know until I was in that situation. It’s easy enough to throw out “of course I’d leave the cheat!” but quite another to face the reality. Especially when you have kids, financial commitments and, of course, care for the person.
