couple coffee[Blind Gossip] This actor and actress are in the middle of filming another chapter of their hit franchise. With all that success, are they having fun working together?

Nah. Nothing’s changed from the first film. They still can’t stand each other. If we’re between takes and they have to be on set, they never even look at each other. The publicists are bugging them to do some of those set up photo ops (just something simple like getting coffee together) to prove that there is some sort of chemistry between them, but they both act like it would be torture.

    PR stunts are so stupid. Who’s going to watch a movie and say, “These two seem like they have no chemistry, but I guess they must because I saw pics of them having coffee last spring.”?

    Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson as Christian & Ana for 50 Shades of Grey.

    Dakota has the acting chops of a toaster. She’s just…bad. Super bad. I cringe each time she talks, and her chemistry with Jamie is so obviously non-existent that their scenes look like stiff Ken and Barbie dolls trying to be sexy while getting down in the bedroom w/ their twisted BDSM fantasies lol.

    Also loved the soundtrack from the first movie but I despise the entire 50 Shades premise.

    I haven’t seen the movie, but I don’t know how they could. They both seem so vacant in their interviews, why would proximity to each other cause any excitement? I’d rather watch my next door neighbor buy tea towels….

    That whole thing has kind of been a sh*tshow since the beginning, hasn’t it? Starting with the horribly written books.
    But why would anyone ever cast leads in a sex-centric movie without making sure the two stars have chemistry??

    I haven’t seen the movies (nor read the books) but neither performer seems to have much charisma even alone on talk shows. I don’t see how 0 + 0 can add up to anything but 0.

    I do think they have some onscreen chemistry, but Jamie was wrong for this role. It should have been Ian Somerhalder. He has an intensity as Damon that Jamie does not have, even though he plays a serial killer in The Fall.

    Divergent franchise. Shaileene Woodley and any of the male actors. For unknown reasons, she strikes me as someone I’d really not like to work with. Miles Teller et al. seem kinda annoying too, so I could see it not being a fun set.

    they have zero chemistry, it is so sooo obvious in the 1st installment, it was a pain to watch them act out sex scenes! the only interesting part of the movie (and the book) was the beginning, how they met and him stalking her at her workplace.

      This was my first thought too, because of the coffee clue. But the story goes on to talk about the first “film”. So it isn’t a tv show. I know that Lauren Graham and Scott Patterson weren’t crazy about one another, but I’d like to pretend they are mature enough to work and not give each other the silent/evil treatment.
