While the dog was good for some photo ops, it seems to have worn out its welcome. Before departing on a recent trip, she left a list of instructions that included the directive “Get rid of [the dog].”

She doesn’t hate the dog. She’s just over it. It was fun at first, but then it chewed up her shoes, and she doesn’t like all the fur everywhere, and she’s not interested in walking it or taking with her when she travels. She’s not going to toss it on the street though. She told us to get the chip taken out (so nobody will know that she was the owner) and then take it to the shelter and pretend it is our dog we’re giving up.

Perhaps she will leave the same “Get rid of it” directive for any future men or children when they become too much trouble.

    Is it humane to take a pet to a shelter? In some cases, but not this, yes. Every dog and cat that became part of our family came from a shelter. Shelters provide a lifeline for animals in need and a resource for those seeking wonderful companions. In this case, she is in a position to find a loving home for her dog without having to add an additional animal to an otherwise overburdened shelter. Asking to have the chip removed to cover up what she’s doing is despicable!!!

    I’m sitting here with my beloved fur child by my feet, and all I can think reading this is “you have got to be some seriously emotionally messed up personality disordered effed-up individual to not be able to bond with a dog and then throw it out like it’s trash”. The only people I can think of that fit that bill are the Kardashians. Could be any of them. Gawd! I hate them!!!

    Katy Perry? I hope not, but her dancers and other crew members walk her dog. However, Butters is a cavapoo and they don’t shed, so never mind.

    Kylie? She had a small golden puppy chihuahua for a bit and then it disappeared and then she got the dachshund but I haven’t seen it in awhile either. She still has the two mini Italian Greyhounds though, so who knows.

    I’m thinking one of the despicable Kardashians — Kylie is my first guess. But more importantly DON’T TAKE IT TO THE SHELTER. Owner surrenders are first to be put down as they don’t have to adhere to any time period. If this idiot cares at all for this sweet dog, hand it over to a rescue group.

    This family doesn’t deserve to own any dogs.

    Who ever this chica is, she could probably do so much worse than take a dog she’s bored with to a shelter. Here’s hoping the pup is adopted by someone who’s so much more loving & otherwise normal.

      You do know that Ariana already and still got SIX or SEVEN dogs (whom she rescued from a shelter) and walks with them all the time, right? Not to mention the fact that she has taken some with her when she went to other countries and cities. So it really cannot be her. Demi got still her new dog Batman and I do not think that Miley is the type who is getting rid of a dog when she is getting tired of it. If you know what I mean.

    Automatic thought – a Jenner girl – but pretty sure they get rid of dogs on a monthly basis – so not really news.

    Bella Hadid – and Hendrix.

    In my family we believe you get a dog for life – even when they eat your favourite shoes. But taking it to a shelter is far better than what some people do to unwanted dogs. I got my guy from a shelter, he was a sickly 10 week old stray, who had been left to die (he’s now a 5 month old, 50 lb baby)

    I was thinking it could be one of the Jenner girls since a few of their dogs have just disappeared throughout the years but this sounds like someone thats never had a dog.

    Millions of dogs get euthanized every year in shelters because of owner surrenders. Dogs are not disposable. If you cant commit to one then simply never get one! Poor baby has already been put down for all we know.

    Optional: Yes it’s humane to take a dog to a shelter, but only if it’s a no-kill shelter. It upsets me that some shelters exist that kill animals that don’t get rehomed quickly enough 🙁

    Yes taking a dog to the shelter is humane, but being “over it” is childish selfish and the hallmark of a perpetual child.

    Whoever this is, is a horrible person. Owner surrender dogs are often the first to put down. That poor dog! I hope whoever has the dog now actually tries to find the dog a home. Oh, this is infuriating!!!

    So I’ve lost count – how many animals have they ‘gotten rid of’ again?
    Imagine – these people, the Kardashians, have actual fans. Real people that exist in this world and pay money for their crap. People who genuinely believe their show isn’t scripted. There is no adjective to describe how stupid their fanbase is. Proof that idiots outnumber the non-idiots.

    Kylie Jenner and Norman, things like this piss me off, both my dogs are rescues and I took a cat in that had been living on the streets for over a year. The more things I hear the more I detest humans. I thought Kylie genuinely loved her dogs. SMH.

    Don’t know who this is…but it’s better to take them to a shelter of course than to just let the animal loose somewhere. However I think it’s horrible. Pets are like family and unless something major and unexpected in your life happens where you are unable to care for the animal the way it deserves, “getting rid of” the animal is cold hearted. I’ve heard of people leaving animals when they move, or getting rid of it once they had children. SMH.

    No clue on who the celebrity is (I’d say Miley but she seems too into her animals) but unless they’re taking the dog to a no kill shelter, this is despicable. Animals are not toys that you can pick up for a short time and then toss out. A pet is a lifetime commitment, IMHO.

      I highly doubt it’s Miley. She’s obsessed with animals and she’s had a wide range of dogs that definitely shed so this recent one wouldn’t be any different.

      Whoever it is, it is absolutely shameful. Do research on the breed if you want one that doesn’t shed. Have someone take it to training classes. Hire someone to walk it or better yet, don’t get one in the first place.

      As for the optional question- it depends the situation. I won’t shame anyone who has needed to make that tough…

    Tough optional question, but I would say it’s better to bring the dog there than dropping it off at some random area away from your home, or killing it. However, regarding this BI *, it’s not okay to dispense a pet because you are “over it”. WTF? The dog formed a bond (even if the owner didn’t!) and now it’s thrown away like garbage-served its purpose and tossed. ?

    She must belong to the Pets as Publicity Props Program. What an idiot. Doesn’t matter to me who this is but I suspect there are plenty like her in the entertainment biz. It is inhumane to have a dog get attached to you and then dump it. I hope that getting the chip out won’t hurt the poor doggy.

    Danielle Campbell.

    She posted a lot of photos of her dog on Instagram this year and she also recently took a two week vacation to Mexico.

    Plus, she’s dating Louis Tomlinson who’s got a kid.

      Def not her. The blind implies 1 dog and she has 2 – 1 of which she’s had for a couple of years and never has been papped with. It’s probably jlaw since she was papped for a couple of months with the dog.

      For the optional part, I think getting rid of a pet when you (for whatever reason) can’t or won’t take care of it anymore is the responsible thing to do. The dog will be happier with a new owner who loves it than the current one who doesn’t. Now, if she immediately gets another one and then gets rid of that, then I’ll judge her. Hard.

      They are Italian Greyhounds. They are naturally very skinny dogs. That’s how they are supposed to look.

      she’s not that young anymore, my age and that’s why I remember Tinkerbell. She had her for years and took everywhere with her. Don’t think she would give away any of her dogs, she genuine loves them.
