As we mentioned last week, we’re merging all the comments into one database. It’s going slowly but successfully! We need to work from old to new, so here’s where we are now:
2008: September-December complete!
2009: January-June complete! Rest are in process.
2010: In process
Until we’re finished, you may see some weird things, like comment counts not matching up to the actual number of comments. As we merge old comments into the new database, those numbers should start matching up better.
New comments can be added with no problem, and will be saved. And, yes, it’s OK to repeat your previous answers if you like!
