Boozy Newbie

[Mid Day] This newbie actor has been asked to cut down on the booze.

To be honest, we totally approve of partying hard, especially if you’re an actor, who has delivered one of the knock-out performances of 2016 that everyone and their mothers can’t still stop raving about.

But this promising lad is becoming a hot topic among gossip mongers, and the tongues won’t stop wagging. The paps understandably get a kick out of clicking him with his new girlfriend, who is also part of the industry, and there’s much written about his casual dalliances at film parties. When he walked out of a long, steady affair last year, speculation was rife that he probably has become too big for his boots.

This, we were unwilling to believe. The latest we hear about him is that he and his current girlfriend spent the New Year’s together overseas. In keeping with the pub hopping culture of the said city, the December 31 revelry turned a tad too colourful. Unfortunately, for them, tinsel town’s lesser-known folks happened to be at the same pub that night, and have been incessantly exchanging notes about their PDA, and a li’l more.

When this reached the ears of the actor’s management team, they called an urgent meeting with him, asking him to cut down on booze as a New Year resolution. He is infamous for not being able to hold his drink. After he made a pass at a superstar’s wife at a celeb-studded birthday bash last year, he lost out on two lucrative offers, which were assuredly his for the taking.

His managers have refused to take onus for his loss of reputation. He, in turn, has convinced the team that he will be at his best behavior henceforth. Just don’t become boring, is all we have to say.

    No idea.. An English chap.
    About the drinking, I have (had) the same problem. Many miserable and shamefull/dumb years later I’ve quit drinking. It really isn’t worth it. You don’t have to be dull just because you don’t drink.

      Good for you! More people need to wake up and figure out that the drinking is what makes them dull.

      many who do drink do so because they fear they’re dull. Trust me no one is more interesting when drug. Laughed at is not the same as laugh with.

      Waw thanks for the nice, encouraging and true words! I didn’t see it before, but now I have 1000x reasons not to drink, and only one to do it. And that one isn’t even attempting anymore.
      About the dull.. drunk talk is dull. When you sober up it’s really cringing to watch others slur or say the same thing over and over again. And every “fun” story starts with “I was drunk and”. It made me more timide, yes. And I’m not as easily amused anymore, yes. But I gained selfworth, ambition,…

      This, he was in Poldark a huge hit in the UK hint everyone and their mothers and boots which he wears in every scene. He is Irish and the long time gf was I think Ashley Green. I hope it is not him.
