Blockbuster Announcement

woman announcement[Blind Gossip] There is little doubt that this summer action film will be a blockbuster. However, just to add to the excitement, one its stars has an announcement in his pocket which will create additional buzz!

They are still talking about exactly which day to make the announcement, but it’s almost a done deal. Yes, his significant other is on board.

Why would this normally private star turn his personal life into part of the promotion? He’s got a piece of the back end. The more money the film brings in, the more money he makes!

      OK, this makes sense! Maybe his wife is pregnant again (wowza, that’s a lot of kids) – or they’re getting a divorce.

    Could be Ben Affleck announcing that he’s getting back with Garner. He’s not a producer or anything on Suicide Squad but he does make an appearance. It’s possible that he’s got a backend deal with the studio for a percentage. But is he private? He and Garner both did a Divorce Media Tour several months ago…

    The similar blind suggests Liam Hemsworth and some kind of announcement with Miley (engagement, wedding, baby). The only surprising parts are: 1) I’m not convinced this movie will be a blockbuster and 2) it’s surprising to think Liam has the kind of clout to get a back-end piece of a movie, no matter how small it probably is.

    Maybe it’s Will Smith & the similar BI is an indirect hint b/c Liam replaced him in ID.

    I’m gonna go with Star Trek’s Karl Urban.
    He is intensely private, which, frankly, has affected his career. Not many outside the sci-if geekdom know who he is.
    He needs to learn how to play the game. And since he finally just joined social media…

    I’m betting he’ll announce his engagement to Katee Sackhoff.
    Sci-if geeks have been wetting their pants ever since Bones & Starbuck got together.

    I would say Jared Leto / Suicide Squad but he doesnt have a girlfriend.
    So… Liam Hemsworth? Yes, he’s dating Miley but HE has a low profile with his personal life. Independence Day Resurgence is the movie.
    I’m not sure if it’s him but I cant think on any other movie coming out lol

    The only thing that comes to mind is Will Smith and “Suicide Squad.” He’d be likelier to have a back-end arrangement and he has a prominent significant other. Zachary Quinto is already out and the wording makes it sound like an ensemble film, so probably not Matt Damon for “Bourne.”

    Hmmm doesn’t say if the SO is famous so I’d guess not. Action movies coming up: Independence Day sequel (Liam Hemsworth), Tarzan (Skarsgard), Star Trek Beyond (Chris Pine, Idris Elba, Zach Quinto), Jason Bourne (Matt Damon), Suicide Squad (Will Smith). Of those I’d guess that it’s Damon, he’s pretty private and his wife is not famous.

      Or actually it’s Liam Hemsworth. I think the “similar” blind is him and Miley and I think the announcement is that they’re married.
