Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 spent several weeks on top of the box office… which is good.
However, thanks to the SONY leak, Jennifer may be a little peeved this morning. She found out that she and Amy Adams didn’t make as much as their three male costars in American Hustle… which is not so good.
Actors sometimes negotiate points (a.k.a. “back end”) in addition to their salary for a film. For American Hustle, here were the points: “Cooper: 9%; Bale: 9%; Renner: 9%; Lawrence: 7%; Adams: 7%.”
Bad negotiation on the part of their agents? Or systemic gender discrimination?
