Behind The Bully Backfire

August 14, 2014 Blind Gossip

female bully 2[Blind Gossip] It should have been a tiny blip of a story, the kind that comes and goes in 24 hours. However, this celebrity’s parent just could not let it go. The media was attacking their most promising future cash cow! So the parent hired some big guns to try to bully the other person, and leaked it to the press. They actually thought that if they made the story bigger, that the public would side with the family.

Whoops! Big mistake! Now the child looks even WORSE… and do you know who the family is blaming? Not the child whose actions caused the problem in the first place. No, they are blaming the PARENT for their mishandling of the aftermath! Three meetings and over twenty phone calls later, everyone in the family is now FURIOUS at the parent for making the child look even worse than the initial incident did… and they are each threatening to fire the parent if the situation isn’t fixed immediately! However, the smartest thing the parent could do at this point is to do nothing and allow the story to die.

The part that we find funniest is that the family is so genuinely shocked – shocked! – that their bully tactics backfired on them. Here’s a little lesson for them: when you come from a position of celebrity and privilege and try to stomp all over a little person, the public doesn’t cheer for you. They hate you more.
