It’s stressful for an actress to work through the details of her ensemble. Hair, makeup, dress, jewelry, purse, and shoes are all fretted over as each component is guaranteed to be questioned, photographed and critiqued.

One nominee isn’t handling the stress so well. She tried on dozens of pairs of shoes but couldn’t find one that she thought completed her outfit perfectly AND didn’t hurt her feet.

Totally frustrated, she finally picked up one of the shoes and threw it across the room. The shoe hit the wall just a few inches away from the head of a terrified onlooker. Nobody got hurt… but the stiletto heel did leave a nice dent in the drywall!

Calm down, girl!

    Whoever she is, it’s understandable. Uncomfortable shoes are hell, and that reaction looks more like stress and frustration overload than diva behavior. Also we don’t know if the actress may have health issues or problems with her feet.

    I don’t think it’s Gaga, because I doubt she cares whether or not her shoes make her feet hurt. Also, I don’t think she frets over every piece of her wardrobe being critiqued…although I agree she chooses each piece meticulously in order to make a specific impression. This is likely a more mainstream actress.

    Now that the Oscars are over, I’m totally guessing Alicia Vikander… Her dress was one of the only nominees dresses that showed off her shoes hence the importance of what they looked like…

    And she was coming across as kinda bratty in her pre-interviews…

    I think this is a first-time nominee for an Academy , so I would have to guess Larson or Ronan. Though Ronan has been around since a kiddo, I could understand a good old freakout since this is the highest award actors strive for.

    Alicia Vikander. She thinks she’s the *. I am always underwhelmed by her acting, her choice of clothes, her whole “look”. Don’t understand the buzz about her, and she wants to be the “next JLaw”, the new “IT” girl. She WANTS the roles given to JLaw! She thinks she deserves them!

    I will say with confidence, Rooney Mara, who is known to have mental issues.

    But I don’t get the angst. So her feet hurt? I thought the shoes were to show the peons how it’s done, wearing impractical uncomfortable things worth several thousand dollars. Look and envy us, world! And aren’t they all high as kites, anyway?

    I got married in December and will be wearing my wedding dress. Actually, i have oscar viewing party each year and this year, when i chose a rather expensive wedding outfit, my parents said why am I spending so much on something I’ll only wear once? So i told them that I’ll wea4 it all the time. They said, name one occasion and all I could think of wqs thi party… hence, I’ll be the wear my wedding dress and will rock it.

    I don’t know who this is, but I would’ve made the heffer pay for the shoe and if she refused I would’ve called the police and made a report, also have her pay for the damage to the wall. It’s not the shoe’s fault that one can’t find a shoe to fit her feet..lol..

    If I decide to watch, then my pajama’s and cup of hot chocolate.

    Saoirse Ronan or JLaw- both young & immature… Seem bratty to me.
    Clues: Saoirse appeared on “Attack of the Show” episode in past
    Or JLaw verbally “attacked” a reporter recently and has stated her hate of heels in the past.
    Optional: why my Klan hood of course- didn’t think that was optional!!

    How about JLaw ? I will be wearing my underwear with holes in it and my beer belly and probably skip the boring parts but Chris Rock is hosting so i guess it won’t be boring. I will salute the winners with my Bud Light and BURP when they walk to accept the award . Jennifer Lawrence is psychic and has Supernatural Powers. Like out of the Stephen King novel she went into a trance and saw me and got my salute and now you know why she fell. UCCCCKKK !

    Spoiled and immature… First name that pops into my mind is Jennifer Lawrence.
    She was so rude to that foreign press guy.

    Second name , would be her buddy, Amy. She seems to have a problem with shoes staying on her feet.

    Doesn’t really sound like any of them: Cate, Brie, JLaw, Rampling and Saoirse but I’ll go with Charlotte Rampling since she seems like such a loose cannon.

      LOL. Charlotte Rampling is of the age to start needing comfortable shoes. Her dress was rather hideous and she was wearing rather mundane looking lavendar shoes with a blocky little heel that didn’t match. As if she said about the one she threw, ‘oh, F it, I’m going to wear my church-at-Easter shoes and be done with it’.

    The purple pump makes me think of Lady Gaga.

    Not watching the Oscars. Sick to death of all the “diversity” whinging. I’ll look at the Red Carpet shots the next day.

      Exactly – this reeks of a newbie. That’s why I’m not understanding all of the Jennifer Lawrence guesses. Anybody who thinks JLaw is “cagey” as somebody here said and that her goofy persona is a fake to mask her true negative self aren’t good at reading people. JLaw’s done the Oscars several times now, including tripping on the way up to accept her statue. It’s all old hat to her by this point. No way is she throwing shoes and stressing out. A newbie though, that’s another story.

    Jennifer Lawrence-she doesnt strike me as a person who can keep their cool. Just impulsive and cagey.

    Not watching oscars bc I dont care who wins what or who buys who what awards. Or who wears who. It’s all fake.

      Living in Toronto means people frequently running into her, myself and family members included. I can almost positively say this isn’t her on the basis that she is genuinely one of the sweetest and most approachable celebrities. I think this is probably Gaga, with the clue being the sparkly shoes.

      I didn’t even think of Gaga!!!! I definitely think this could be her. Although the person is referred to as an actress… Even though she won the Golden Globe for AHS, she’ll be singing at the Oscar’s… So that makes me question it… But otherwise, great guess; she cares so much about her “look”… Even for a celeb.

    I’ll be in pj’s and only watching to see any shot i can of Michael Fassbender 🙂
