Actress Broke Up Her Costar’s Marriage

breaking up 10[Mid Day] She is one of the most promising actresses on the marquee and made it big with a series of hits to her credit. She was in an enviable position because she found an ideal boyfriend almost as soon as she entered the industry. Even though the couple never really confessed their feelings to each other, it was an open secret as they were found everywhere together.

But soon after, differences started cropping up and they decided to give it a break. This, some said, was the result of her career taking off very well, while he couldn’t cope with her success. So, the inevitable happened and the two decided to stay apart for some time. The actress was looking for a shoulder to cry on and she found the perfect one in her co-star from a current film. It didn’t matter that the co-star is a much married man, what with strong rumours of him and his wife having troubles in the marriage.

Soon, the actress and the actor indulged in a fling to perhaps get away from their troubles. Meanwhile, the actress’ boyfriend realised his folly and decided to come back to her. Happy at the reconciliation, the actress promptly moved back to her earlier love status, forgetting the other actor in the process. The actor was not really feeling jilted either as he had not taken this fling seriously. But what he had not accounted for, is his wife getting a whiff of his short-term indulgence.

Last we heard, this has widened the rift between the actor and his wife, who has finally decided to separate from him. The actress, on the other hand, is happily back with her blissfully ignorant boyfriend.

    What is this? 1958?
    He is married, yet she broke up his marriage?
    Stop shaming only the mistresses when the men’s relationship breaks apart as a result of an affair.
    It takes two to tango and even if she is the initiative one, he is still the one who gave vows to another woman.
    So please refrain from blaming just one party. Men do know how to say no, and even more so, should know how to avoid such situations in the first place.

      A happy home can’t be homewrecked. People always blame the woman, hence there being ‘the other woman’ rather than ‘the other man – it’s historically sexist.

      AGREED. She didn’t break up *. And her “blissfully ignorant” boyfriend doesn’t have anything to be mad about if he did know – they were on a break.

      He broke up his OWN marriage. The article clearly states that she was on a break and single. She didn’t vow anything to anyone.

      This is an indian newspaper and they are talking about bollyood actors. Sadly, many mewspapers in India, while pretending to be feminists, put such pathetically worded articles quiet often. The worst was when lupita won the oscar, one of India’s most widely read Hindi newspaper wrote this headline… lupita becomes the fifth n-word to win in the supporting actress category. Not out of hate but sheer ignorance.

      I hate it when women don’t take their own responsibility in an affair. I’m not saying it wasn’t his fault, it was, as well as hers. Her lackadaisical attitude towards any marriage vows leaves one wanting…
      I’m a single female and I respect all marriage vows, even if those who took them don’t respect them.

      After “Spider Man”, Garfield’s career has took off last year, with “Silence” and “Hacksaw Ridge”. For most of the time, he was following Emma on movie sets… It could be them, unfortunately!
