They recently had a dinner out without their child/ren. It looked like it was supposed to be a romantic date night.

We were seated near them. He’s attractive, but she is gorgeous. The weird thing is that apart from ordering, they never actually spoke to each other! They both spent the entire meal on their phones! It looked like he was watching a movie and she was texting back and forth with someone else. They didn’t seem angry with each other, just really disinterested.

Rich and famous and good-looking… and already bored to death with each other!

Your friends at Blind Gossip told you last month that this Actor/Model couple was terribly bored with each other at a recent dinner.

Right after our blind item ran, it looks like they put their phones down… but still could not muster up any interest in each other!

Why? Because just a few weeks later, there is public confirmation of another bad dinner date… and reports that they are miserable with each other!

Bradley Cooper’s “A Star Is Born” may be a hit at the box office — but the actor and director did not appear to be on cloud nine at dinner with his baby-mama, Irina Shayk, on Tuesday.

The couple had a low-key dinner date at Masa in the Time Warner Center, and spies told Page Six they were serving some major attitude to each other.

“They were not looking happy,” a spy told us. “The couple sat down. He was in a hoodie and she was fresh-faced — no makeup — and they barely spoke to each other at the start of the meal. Halfway through, she started looking off to the side and he was moody.”

Cooper and model Shayk have been dating since at least 2015.

The couple welcomed their first child together, daughter Lea, last year.

What’s going on with Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk?

After Page Six reported that the pair were spotted looking sulky during dinner at Masa in the Time Warner Center, a source told us, “They are miserable together. They have been for months. He doesn’t drink and is into spirituality. She wants to go out.”

The source added, “She went to Ibiza by her herself for a party that [celebrity photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott] threw.”

The source said that the bad-romance buzz has been swirling around the couple “in that big Russian model community.” (Shayk’s from Yemanzhelinsk.)

But yet another source familiar with the stars insisted any talk of misery is “not true.”

We’re sure Brad and Irina will tighten up the happy couple demeanor in public from now on. After all, he has a big film career and a major film to promote (A Star Is Born) and she has a high-profile modeling career.

    When my husband and I go out to dinner, 7/10 couples at tables around us are on their phones throughout the meal. She’s been trying to break into acting for several years. She’s also the daughter of a Russian coal miner who died in his 40’s leaving the family destitute in rural Russia near the Kazahkstan border. A few boring years in a contract marriage is a small price to pay for a lifetime of financial security for your family.

    Heck, I’ve been married 25 years and still find it annoying if my spouse looks at his phone too much while dining out (which he doesn’t do often, thankfully). I’m stunned how often I see couples, friends, etc eat out together, with each stuck on his or her own phone. We’re rapidly becoming a world of non-sociable people.

    Oh, duh. Irina Shayk and Bradley Cooper.
    Optional: I don’t know, sometimes I really enjoy being in the same room as my husband, but not interacting. It’s a little strange to go out in public to do that, but maybe they don’t like eating at home.

    Yes that would bother me. I would probably get up and leave and see how long it took before they realized I was gone.
    My question here is, did these two genuinely come together, or was it a pr set-up. Because that’s what this looks like. Two people who have nothing in common set up by their people to generate headlines to boost their careers.

    The only actor-model couple with kids I can think of off the top of my head is Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky. I thought “bored to death” might have been a clue to do with the TV show but couldn’t think of an actor who fit.

    Optional: When we’re on date nights, or just spending the evening together, we definitely try to put the phones away as much as possible.

    I never like it when I’m out with someone and they are on their phone. I’ve said something in the past because what’s the point of having dinner with someone if you’re not going to give them your full attention.

    Bradley Cooper and Irina Shayk for the couple. They aren’t married and have one daughter. This is a contract relationship, not a love match. It’s sad that after all these decades Hollywood is still the same. Everyone hides behind an image because they feel it’s too risky to live your life honestly. Gotta maintain an illusion so the impressionable masses will continue to buy what you’re selling.

    Optional: I would be mad. I would tell him he’s rude and disrespectful. It would be our last date.

    I don’t know who this is, although Bradley Cooper comes to mind.

    It would definitely bother me if my date spent more time on his phone at dinner. I actually used to have a friend who did that every time we did anything together. She ALWAYS answered her phone calls and text messages and had entire conversations while I waited. I literally couldn’t finish a sentence sometimes without her taking a call. I once asked her if I should call her so I could finish my damn sentence. We’re not friends…

    Blanket no phones, tablets, smart watches, books etc rule at the dinner table. I have even been to a dinner party where there was a fishbowl in the middle of the table for people to put their phones. Take it out and you missed out on dessert.

    Not certain about couple but this is my biggest pet peeve…. especially families where parents are on phones and kids on devices. No communication whatsoever. Do they not realize the message they send their kids???

      I agree. People were made to communicate and interact with one another, it’s sad that this is the state of the world and the people in it right now. It’s sad to see people just walking around like zombies with their heads down and eyes glued to their phones, but you see it all the time now, and it’s just plain sad.

    No idea on the couple. Using a cell phone at dinner is plain rude. A lot of men think it’s O.K. It isn’t. If I were on a date with a guy and he was checking his phone instead of talking with me I would dump him.

    I see this all the time; it could be anyone. If my date did that to me, I’d get up and leave. We can all eat alone at home.

    I would be pissed. Why go out on a date with someone just to be ignored? I would definitely pick up and leave without saying a word

      I agree that it could be Brad/Irina or Jason/Rosie, but don’t read too much into this “date.” Many power couples eat out every night unless they have a private chef at home. The restaurant just becomes their family dinner table — not a date. I knew a powerhouse couple of two successful lawyers who ate out every night in the vicinity of the courthouse/office/home. One would be looking over tomorrow’s court notes, while the other was catching up on emails. It’s what worked for them.
