[Blind Gossip] This celebrity couple wants you to think that they are geniuses when it comes to making money.

Their latest fabulous claim is that they made millions on the sale of a home that they bought and remodeled and sold.

No.

When you add up the amount that they spent buying the house, remodeling it, and selling it, they actually lost money on the property. The reason there were so many cost overruns is that [the husband] kept changing his mind on everything. They would finish something and then he would decide he didn’t like where the doorway was located or the flooring or how the bathroom was arranged or whatever, and they’d have to rip everything out and start all over.

Sounds like they could have actually made a profit if they had just designed a plan and stuck to it. But, as it turns out, they will just pretend that they made a profit.

They like to pretend.

    Lose money, again. Theirs is the worst show on HGTV. Never believed their figures as to how much they spent/profit.

    What will they do with the next house? Not live in it together. Probably they will try again to remodel and just go through the same fiasco.

    Kim and Kanye. When I read a story about a “profit”, I thought, Yeah right! They remodeled that home for years! No way they made any money. I guess they need everyone to think that everything they touch turns to gold or cash.

    I personally don’t think they will move into the new place, but decide something is ‘wrong’ with it and either sue the contractor or sell it at a loss.

    Optional: They will over remodel this one forcing them to either rent from family or move in with family. Either way it will be another multi-year renovation.

    Wasn’t this the house they bought to make people believe they were a real couple and kept postponing the completion of the remodels to drag it out as long as possible? I seem to remember a blind from quite awhile ago hinting at this.

    I think they will continue to “remodel” their “home” for years… While Kim lives with her mother. This will continue until their contract marriage is up.

      Surre….Lol. I knew when I saw the claim that they were lying. Doesn’t take a genius to figure out the remodeling costs were HUGE. It’s even stated they bought the house, demolished down to the studs and rebuilt it. That in itself would cost a small fortune. The “minimalist” look doesn’t guarantee cheaper.
