Twirling And Tatting

[Blind Gossip] This pop star has been to many Met Galas, and she never disappoints.

Or, she always disappoints, depending on how you look at it!

Her face was very, very smooth, almost like a mask. Her face did not move much when she talked.

She kept twirling her hair with her finger and drinking out of a flask (yes, even though alcohol in proper glasses was being served). She seem a little drunk and a lot annoyed at everyone.

The one person she seemed genuinely happy to see was [Daughter of another pop star]. They obviously knew each other. [Pop Star] gave her a big hug and was checking out her tattoos and they were talking about modeling and acting. After she walked away, [Pop Star] said, “Somebody should tell her that she’d get more work if she’d stop tatting herself up like that.”

Guess Pop Star won’t be the one to tell her!

    Forbidding her is the worst thing you could do. It would make her more determined than ever. Try a compromise. One tattoo every year. I’d offer to pay for them as a birthday present. Hopefully, with enough lapsed time in between tats, she’d come to her senses. And I’d be subtly working her to reconsider.

    Mine did tell me that recently and I was upset only because she’s seen me endure 4 years of laser removal which is expensive and very painful. That and she was just sort of picking tattoo ideas out of thin air. Nothing special that has meaning. Just something for the sake of having tattoos. I have said I can’t tell you not to do it since I did, but please think it through first!

    I’d have a fit. Cannot stand tattoos. So very tacky and cheap looking, even those done by renowned tattoo artists often look awful after some time. I’d have to tell my daughter Not while she lives in my house. Once she moves out this is her decision. I can only do so much to save her from herself….

    Whomever said it is 100% right.

    I told my daughter I think isn’t stupid but her body. I didn’t not allow her to scribal on her walls when younger and she if wants to look like a back ally graffiti trash can go ahead. Thankful she changed her mind and thanked me later. Her and some tattooed friend’s went to a wedding… She looked elegant in dress and her friends looked gross. Why anyone would put multi colored tats on beautiful skin is beyond me.

    My daughter tells me she wants to get tattoos- I show her what they look like on old women- it cured her….skin sags- tattoos sag with it! Not a good look!……besides, you’ll change your mind about the design, just as you do about clothes!….

    I have multiple tattoos myself, but each one means is lifelong commitment so I’d have a talk with the teenage daughter and tell her she’s got some living to do before she commits to a tatt.

    Rihanna was drinking from a flask at another awards show recently. Only star i know that does that so i think its her? And daughter of (king of)pop star who keeps getn ink along wth the older brother is MJ kids.

    The only other pop star offspring there were Lily Collins (no tats), Sofia Ritchie (no tats) and Lily-Rose Depp (stunning but no tats).
    Madonna looks freakish. The cheek implants, overuse of fillers and Botox, and the Godawfull diamanté grill are hideous. It’s sad that she’s gone down this road as she could have looked amazing had she left well alone.
    Another one who’s on the same road is Naomi Campbell.
    STOP! It’s not attractive!

    Tattoos are not the taboo to millenials that they were to previous generations. They are more like a right of passage. I don’t mind them if they’re tasteful/meaningful and not overwhelming in number or size. And my daughter’s old enough to decide for herself (she has 2).

      To me they’re just plain ugly, and make you look tacky, and this is coming from someone that has a couple of small tattoo that I got during my younger years, and have long regretted getting them. I warned my kids about getting them also, but they did anyhow, when they entered adult hood.

    If she’s over 18 and paying for it herself, not much I can say about it, but remind her that they are for life. To remove them can be a painful and long process. I know from experience.

      My opinion is (& I’m entitled to it, as I remind my daughters) tattoos are hideous. No one needs to permanently scar their body w/ ink. They don’t make you interesting, intriguing or anything else. I find some offensive, especially the full sleeves, neck & face tattoos, etc. My daughters each have one or more in areas they can cover, so at least I don’t have to look at them. My son does not have any (he’s smart). Honestly, they gross me out. That’s just how I feel. Not trying to offend…
