Without Kramer And George

[Blind Gossip] When you film a TV series together over several seasons, there are certain expectations about how it will end.

The finale usually focuses on the main characters of the ensemble. When that doesn’t happen, it’s bound to cause some angst.

She was shocked to find out that she would not be included in the finale. She was one of the four principals, so she was baffled about why she was written out. She felt like in the last season other/ lesser characters were given more screen time to the detriment of her character but she still thinks it’s wrong to leave her out. She says “It’s like doing the finale of Seinfeld without Kramer and George. Unthinkable.”

Our girl is going to move one. She does have several projects coming up, so it’s doubtful that being left out of this one show will hurt her career much.

    Actress: Zosia Mamet. This season has barely had her in it, but she does have several things in post production listed on IMDB, unlike Allison Williams who would have been my other guess.

    The only thing that comes to mind is “Girls,” which had four main females. Probably Shoshanna/Zosia Mamet, the one girl who should have been featured way more often but never was. Less Lena and Marnie, more Zosia would have made the show better.

    Lena is so full of $hit. She talks about never wanting to see another film/tv show poster w/four white girls on the cover again…yet her next project that wrapped is a miniseries about a white female newspaper writer during the beginning of the feminist movement. Not a POC to be seen in the cast….oh, and cherry on top: Zoe Kazan, who plays the lead – got her start through nepotism like Lena et al….

    Zosia Mamet or Jemima Kirke from Girls — neither one will be in the finale. I would say Zosia because her character has definitely been on the backburner the last couple of seasons (while supporting characters have had more screen time).

    One of the Girls (from hbo). The finale will be focused on Hannah. I would say Marnie, but she’said promised to be in finale too. So maybe Jessa too. Shosh was left out he whole season.

    Doesn’t much matter to me, not a fan of this show. Understandable why she’s upset by it though, these two have been main characters from the start. Weird to hear they won’t appear in the last episode.

    Either of the ladies who play Shoshanna or Jessa in Girls.. I’m quite bored of their storylines anyway so won’t miss them too much!

    I think viewers probably would like some kind of closure with the principals.

    Zosia Mamet from Girls.

    I’ve never watched an episode in my life, but IMDB has the three other main girls in an episode called “Latching” but Zosia is not listed in it.

    I think that’s odd.

    Apparently two of the “Girls” won’t be in the Girls finale. I don’t watch so I don’t know who – but likely this is one of them.

    Lena Dunham recently revealed that Zosia and Jemima won’t be in the finale, that’s half the girls! Zosia is the only one of the two with a lot of upcoming work.

    Optional: it’s so stupid when they do this, a series finale is a major goodbye, I love to see as many characters as I can, even the random coffee waiter whose name you don’t know but pops up at least once a season.

    Zosia Mamet? Girls-there were rumors Dunham & her didn’t get along-and it showed! In a recent episode, Ray was treated as the main character and she was the sidekick

    Nope, Girls started out with Hannah, Marnie, Jessa, and Shoshanna and should end with all four of them. Bad move on Lena’s part.

    I’m not necessarily against excluding the character is it makes narrative sense – here…

    it seems like Shoshanna decided to move on from the group and the finale was said to involve some kind of jump in time. However, I don’t like how they decided to play off her character. I don’t think she was wrong with most of what she said, but she was unnecessarily cruel and selfish about how she chose to the end the friendships in my opinion.
