The Gushing Minion

[Blind Gossip] When this successful pop star first started out, she reminded people of this older and well-established pop star.

Older Pop Star found the comparison amusing. She even supported Younger Pop Star by attending one of her concerts.

Well, eventually Older decided that Younger was imitating her a little TOO much!

Older not only stopped supporting Younger… but the two started feuding! Mostly petty stuff, but it’s clear that the two don’t like each other.

Younger recently walked into a room where some of her minions were watching a some sort of video on the internet.

No, it wasn’t a performance by Older.

It was some sort of performance by Older’s DAUGHTER.

One of the the minions – who had worked for Younger for a couple of years – started gushing about how talented Daughter was and how it looked like Daughter would follow in Older’s footsteps and have a big career.

Uh oh.

Younger ordered the minion to turn off the video and for everyone to get back to work.

A couple of days later, in a short phone call, the gushing minion was fired.

    Gaga is more talented in terms of singing, but Madonna really shook popular culture in a way no one does right now. She’s not an it girl anymore, but she really was a groundbreaker in her prime.

    Don’t think it’s Ariana Grande, who’s one of those R&B pop singer who hits all the fancy notes but is dull and formulaic. They’re a dime a dozen in pop now. Never was a Mimi fan, but her voice was insane.

    Madonna and Lady Gaga. Madonna once went to one of her concerts. And as far I can remember her daughter was in a music video or something.

    I hope you all do realise that the daughter of Mariah Carey is FIVE years old, right? Oh. And she never supported anyone at all.

    Gaga is more talented BUT I remember her being annoyed recently that people compared her to Madonna because she (Gaga) is more of a musician than Madonna ever was. *, please. It might be true but Gaga courted that comparison like * when she first started. It’s only now that she’s distancing herself. It may not be fair but Gaga will never have the cultural impact Madonna did.

    Younger, Lady Gaga, is more talented any day of the week. She shouldn’t feel threatened by Madonna’s daughter unless Lourdes can play instruments, write songs, and actually sing like Gaga, and unlike her overrated mom.

    So obvious, Madonna is the OG and Gag-gag is the young one.
    I loved Gag gag, but the fairy dust was neutralized and disappeared as soon as she came out with Born This Way. Trying to ride Madonna’s coat tails, all her music sucks from that point on.

    What a shame, I thought she was so original.

    Madonna, Lady Gaga. Musically I think Lady Gaga has more true talent, her voice is better and she can play the piano, if not other instruments as well. Madonna paved the way, however, for quirky performances and gimmicks with her appearance and reinventing herself every 2 seconds.

    It’s clear Lady Gaga draws inspiration from Madonna, but I think both of their egos are completely out of control.

    Madonna and Gaga. Madonna is a prolific writer, performer and artist and fashionista. Gaga has an amazing voice and plays instruments better than M. BUT< Gaga could cease to exist and I wouldn't miss her…I would miss M.

      I’m going to stick with Mariah she’s been quoted as saying in interviews that her kids are very musical, that “she” thinks Monroe may have perfect pitch & they are supposedly able to sing back ups. I don’t know what if any of this is true but according to Mariah they are very talented.

    Lady Gaga is more talented, but Madonna will always be the bigger star. Things were just different when Madonna came up.

    Both in their own way. M. paved the way for LGG etc, others did for M. Get over it. Only fuels pettiness not great competition.
    I get many ‘artists’ have fragile egos but this is petty and selfish. Hypocrisy seems another trait of the rich/ famous (not ALL). The ‘minion’ prob really needed the job and made a simple mistake…not being a loyal syncophant aka a** kisser. Glad Younger can sleep at night.

      Proof that some things never change. As FEUD so aptly chronicles, the old studio system made big bank setting female stars against each other. Now sisters are doing this useless crap for themselves. Time to wise up, ladies.

    GaGa has a better voice, Madonna dances better.
    I used to love Madonna before I went to her shows but now her music sounds cheap and I find her attitude now is weird….she’s sinister. She should have kept her brother as an artistic director seriously, her vibe was more fun, less angry and violent. Gaga is talented but I feel she can’t produce anything as good as the Fame /Monster.

    Mariah and that horrible person with the ponytail. Ariana Grande (had to look her up). Ariana may be talented, but she has the same issue so many celebrities of her generation have…they are infinitely unlikeable.
    Mariah was more talented, now a days? maybe it’s a tie.

    Mariah was a revelation! Her voice shattered glass and sales records alike. I like Ariana, but she has some big girl shoes to fill. Mariah is a legend and burst upon the scene. Ariana isn’t even the biggest female artist of her generation. So she needs to sit down, eat some humble pie (no doughnuts!) and get over herself…the minion should leak some of scandalous misdeeds.

      Ariana needs to learn how to enunciate her words. She massacred the new Beauty and the Beast song. You can’t understand a word she’s saying. She sounds drugged out. She also ruined it with all her stupid vocal runs. All she focuses on is hitting the high notes. John Legend did an awesome job with that song.

      There are several articles on the Internet regarding the feud between Ariana and Mariah dating back to 2014 and also Mariah gushing about her daughter Monroe’s musical talent. I don’t know about Gaga and Madonna having a fuel but I am pretty sure this one is Mariah and Ariana.

      Agree that this is Mariah Carey/Ariana Grande. Even though Mariah’s daughter Monroe is young, she could still be exhibiting a beautiful singing voice at this age.

    Gaga is a much, much more talented pure musician, but from an overall artistic standpoint (look, dancing, etc.) she’s well behind Madonna.

      Madonna has natural green eyes; Lady GaGa has hazel eyes; Madonna’s daughter Lourdes has brown eyes…
