Stressed Out By Flowers

[Blind Gossip] This singer is being incredibly disingenuous about both fame and social media.

She is claiming that it is stressful for her to be famous and to have so many social followers. Should we feel sorry for her?

Hello?! She has her team PAY for social media followers!!! That’s the only reason her numbers are so high. For example, their monthly spend in [month] was [$x] to buy followers on Instagram and [$x] to buy followers on Twitter. They do this ALL. THE. TIME.

She really thinks she’s more famous or has more fans than [singer] or [other singer]? LOL. They just don’t buy [as many] followers as her.

This is like sending yourself flowers everyday… and then saying you are incredibly stressed out by all the flowers you are receiving.

You are free to shut down your social media accounts anytime, Singer!

    It’s Selena, although Ariana is doing it too. Taylor can sell out a stadium back to back in the same city. It’s not her. She has tons of fans and sells records, unlike Selena. Selena can’t even sell out an Arena.

    With read once that something like 80% of some star’s followers were bought/fake, so I wouldn’t be surprised if 50-80% of Selena’s followers were bought as well.

    So many artists have outsold her and had achieved more than her and they don’t have as much as followers as her e.g Justin Bieber, Beyonce, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Adele.

    I understand why are they buying it though, she can’t sing can’t dance can’t write her own music, instagram and her pretty facs are the only things going on for her.

    That’s a good question about the % of “real” followers. With the vicious at times competition between celebs to outdo one another and remain at the top, some go to extremes and get caught up in the mundane details, instead of focusing on their craft.

    Selena is a very pretty girl but all the mean girls stuff she gets caught up in with her peers keeps messing with her head. Who’s dating who? Who has more followers. Focus on developing your talents…

    OMG, just checked Instagram and Tay Tay has 99 million followers!!!!! Like how are there even 99 million people on Instagram? But then I go to Selena Gomez’s page and she has 113 million! Good grief. So yeah, this has to be Selena. Plus the girl in the picture has long dark hair. I would think her “real” following is more like 10 million ….. if she’s lucky.

    She kills me – probably one of the biggest hypocrites out there. I do not understand how she can buy followers yet say she wants to escape social media. I am really really sick of these games. And you know what? I really hope people will eventually get brains and realize that they are all being fed crap just so these so called celebs can stay relevant.

      I am also weary of the games! Purchasing social media followers. Engaging in fake relationships to cover homosexuality. Pretending to be pregnant while employing a surrogate. Going to rehab for drug addiction but claiming exhaustion. Spouting off on politics/world affairs with less than a high school diploma. Preaching about climate change, but hopping on private jets and yachts. The behavior of the “celebrity” crowd is over the top and ridiculous.

      Yeah it’s definitely Ariana Grande! She has 100 million Instagram followers and recently shot a music video for her & John Legends song on the new Beauty & The Beast soundtrack (hence the red roses).

    I always suspected that most of her followers were fake. She usually only gets 2-3 thousand likes or retreats on her tweets. She is not as popular as she thinks she is.

      I agree with this^^ it’s not about your likes, it’s your engagement. And her engagement is as low as someone with a 2-6 million followers, yet it says 61 million on IG. That’s a lot of fake followers.

      Although Ariana Grande has the same type of engagement, so it could be her. All the Selena guesses seem off-she has a very high engagement.

    What’s her strategy, anyway? She seems to be branding herself as a fragile, unstable person who can’t cope with the fame she constantly chases down.
