Pilot Hydration

[Blind Gossip] This over-30, dark-haired actor was recently cast as one of the leads in a TV pilot. You definitely know him because he has starred on at least one TV show in the past.

He’s really a rather nice person, but he may not make it through pilot season.

He usually carries a water bottle or a sports drink bottle. It’s not because he gets dehydrated easily. Producers should check out the contents. Vodka. Or vodka and whatever.

Maybe someone can sober him up before they sink a lot of money into the pilot?

    The other reason I can’t imagine it is John Hamm is because Don Draper made him a bonafide megastar tv-wise. I think they’d deal with it accordingly but not scrap a show entirely. He supposedly was a heavy drinker and cheater during MAD MEN so why would they care now?

    I hope it is not Josh Radnor. He is a really good actor and I would hate to hear that he has these issues.
    I am thinking maybe Jon Hamm. Whoever this is I hope he gets help before he is so far gone he loses his career and his health .

      Totally thought of him too. He does seem like a nice guy, and HIMYM was his first and only (successful) show on TV.

    Pilot is a clue, I’m assuming. The only person I can think of is Seth McFarlane. He’s in a Sci-Fi Dramedy series.

    Gosh, I hope this isn’t Jim Caviezel. He just got cast in a Navy Seals show which is why the word “sink” made me think it’s him. He was great in Person of Interest.

      Wash your mouth out! (lol!) I really don’t want to think this is David but it does fit – he is LOVELY. But I just can’t see being a drunk – but I don’t know him personally so… 🙁

    Guessing, because I read that Piven enjoys his drink.

    Sports drink with alcohol sounds awful, but I am not a drinker. I may have a glass of wine twice a year, and it puts me right to sleep.

    This has to be Poots McCPewin ! I heard that the short time he spent with Goopy drove him to drink and he has never shaken the habit but he tries to hide it.

    Joe manganiello? Was in True Blood. Fits the description and had alcohol issues in the past. Not sure if he’s recently signed up to a pilot though

    Nasty and trashy. Reminds me of Blake Shelton whose favorite drink is Crystal Light and vodka.

      Hey but it does the trick. I wouldn’t consider it a highbrau cocktail choice but balancing your booze with rehydration and electrolytes IS a smart thing.

      I doubt it. He’s been working steadily in a recurring roll on The Librarians for the past few seasons. If he had a problem that impacted his work or work ethic, this probably wouldn’t be the first we’d be hearing about it.
