So, will we ever see a photo of her “pregnant”?

She knows that she needs to do one public photo op with the baby bump, so right now she is saying that she will do it when the temps get a little colder (October).

Janet hasn’t been seen since April when she announced that she was leaving her tour because she was “planning our family.” She didn’t actually say that she was pregnant. She let other people say that for her.

As we mentioned in the original blind item, we knew that she had purchased a baby bump in England, that she was self-conscious about her weight gain, and that she was planning to do a public appearance soon to “validate” her pregnancy. We just didn’t know the exact date or venue.

Just ONE DAY after we published this blind item, a “pregnant” Janet Jackson and her “baby bump” was snapped by paparazzi shopping for baby items in London!

What an amazing coincidence!

The high temperatures in some major world cities yesterday: Los Angeles: 90 degrees. Riyahd, Saudi Arabia: 104 degrees. London, England: 64 degrees. Yep, London is definitely cooler. You could wear a baby bump and a three or four layers of baggy clothing and a giant scarf there and never even break a sweat.

Yes, her clothing is baggy. It’s not because she’s fat. It’s because she’s “planning our family.” Planning makes you gain weight.

By the way, a lot of conspiracy theorists are claiming that the surrogate mom to her baby is her sister or her sister-in-law or her niece or her secret daughter. No. Makes for a good story, but it’s simply not true. And no, she did not use Beyonce’s surrogate (see below for a link to that story).

Pregnant Janet Jackson Debuts Growing Baby Bump in Rare Public Appearance

ET was the first to report back in May that the 50-year-old singer is pregnant with her first child with husband Wissam Al Mana, and only ET has these exclusive new photos taken Tuesday afternoon, when she was spotted out and about in London with a visible baby bump. Jackson, who is rarely photographed in public, was seen leaving the baby furniture store Back In Action wearing sneakers, dark sweatpants, a black sweater and a matching scarf and headband.

An eyewitness tells ET that Jackson arrived at the store in a chauffeured black Mercedes along with her bodyguard, her assistant and two others from her entourage. Jackson was greeted by staff, who shut the doors for her visit and seated her at a table to seemingly go over some of their merchandise. According to the eyewitness, she also strolled the store and took an interest in one of the prams.

The mother-to-be appeared in good spirits as she left the establishment with a bag of products after her 45-minute visit, and even cracked a smile as she made her way to her vehicle.

Jackson and Al Mana have a home in London, one of several homes they own around the world, but no word yet if she’ll give birth there. As for when she’s due, no date has been confirmed, but signs do point to November.

Janet Jackson Officially Announces Her Pregnancy ‘Blessing’ at 50 – See the Exclusive Photo!

Janet Jackson is one glowing mom-to-be.

The 50-year-old singer is officially confirming her pregnancy and showing off her growing baby bump exclusively with PEOPLE.

“We thank God for our blessing,” says the star.

After Jackson announced in April she was postponing her Unbreakable World Tour in May to focus on “planning” a family with her husband Wissam Al Mana, sources confirmed to PEOPLE the star was expecting her first child.

Over the last few months, Jackson has kept a low profile and was last spotted shopping for baby buys at London’s Back in Action furniture store.

“She is super excited about her pregnancy and is doing extremely well,” a source close to the Jackson family previously told PEOPLE. “She actually feels very good about everything.”

Anything seem odd to you?

When a magazine does a big story, the celebrity will typically do a sit-down interview (sometimes on video) and a photo shoot in the studio. The whole thing usually takes a few hours and there is a lot involved: Interviewers, writers, editors, publicists, photographers, photo editors, studio assistants, hair, makeup, wardrobe, hot lights, etc.

Janet Jackson didn’t do any of that. People has an “exclusive” with a photo they didn’t take… and an interview they didn’t conduct… about a pregnancy that doesn’t exist!

(To be clear, we’re not blaming People Magazine. Any media outlet would have done exactly the same to have this exclusive. Kudos to People for getting it.)

First, there was no interview. The content of the article is provided by “sources,” with Janet herself contributing only six words.

And, once again, Janet Jackson never says, “I’m pregnant.” She said earlier, “We’re planning our family.” Now she gives a fuzzy, “We thank God for our blessing.” She lets her family or publicist say she’s pregnant, but she doesn’t say it herself. That’s because she is not pregnant.

Second, there was no photo session at People. The photo is credited to Janet Jackson and Solaiman Fazel. Fazel is a celebrity photographer specializing in private, creative celebrity portraits. Jackson and Fazel did a private, very contained photo shoot, edited the photo, and simply submitted it to People.

The photo itself is HIGHLY Photoshopped around the face, cheeks, chin, neck and torso. That’s why Janet looks amazingly thinner than she did just a few weeks ago.

Did you notice the white outfit and the dark-rimmed glasses? We told you that she wants to be taken very seriously (see Empty Embarrassment) so this look echos the “Doctor’s orders” video from when she cancelled her tour.

Beyonce is probably hopping mad that she didn’t privatize her own pregnancy to this extent. Her fakery was exposed to the world with her floppy foam belly in a sit-down video interview.

Janet Jackson avoided all that by being completely in CONTROL! Silicone instead of foam, two scheduled photos (one public, one private, totally in control of her environment and the finished product during the private shoot). Faking a pregnancy… but totally in control of that fakery.

UPDATE!

Janet Jackson has given birth!

No she hasn’t. But her surrogate did!

The fifty-year-old singer now has a son. Yes, you read that right. Fifty.

The media is saying the usual: It’s her first child (eye roll) and that Janet is recovering well from the delivery (double eye roll).

Any article you read is just a stretched-out rehashing of the story from the beginning.

The only other new piece of information is that the baby’s name might be Eissa Al Mana.

We don’t know about you, but when we hear the name “Eissa”, we have Homeland flashbacks of Nicholas Brody screaming “Eissa! EISSAAA!” in his sleep.

    Here’s what’s fishy about the pictures: her hands and arms are still boney. If she were really that pregnant she would be puffy all over. My normally skinny fingers looked like sausages.

    Sooooooo….nobody is questioning the “it’s too hot to wear a baby bump” excuse? She’s a multi millionaire married to a billionaire. Go to whatever it’s cooler to take the pics. Idk….Janet never explicitly said she was pregnant. She said she needed time off to start her family. She may very well admit to using a surrogate.

    With all the MoNeY they have…there are women here in Europe whom have had children whilst older then Janet is now….

    So she could be, (or maybe not..)
    BUT if she is pregnant, with all the hate some famous people get over their weight, (and don’t forget she has had LOTS of nasty comments), why should she open herself up for that if she is in a pregnancy whit a baby SHE HERSELF can decide that she can/will hold on to THIS TIME…

    I don’t think she will do a photo spread for a magazine, because that would leave her vulnerable to questions and someone noticing a fake bump and talking. I think she will do an arranged paparazzi shot, if she releases any photo at all. I suppose she could post a selfie. She could totally control that, and even minimize her weight gain. It’s all really silly to me. Nobody cares if she’s using a surrogate, but she used pregnancy as a way to cancel her concert.

    Janet Jackson, but this is silly. It’s safer for the baby to be born by surrogate. I don’t understand why celebs aren’t more honest about this. If there aren’t safety issues, then there is the requirement that the celeb look perfect constantly. If Kim K had a surrogate last time, good for her. She’s been bullied constantly over her weight and looks. Better to just be honest.

    I really don’t understand the mockery around a 50 year old woman becoming pregnant. It CAN absolutely happen via donor eggs, etc. Not to mention that any woman who is still experiencing monthly cycles can also become pregnant naturally. It may not be an every-day occurrence, but it is possible.

With that being said & every ego having their own input the Jacksons will choose which of these they have the most control over.     Janet Jackson….if her team is smart they’ll let the paparazzi “catch” her out in public. But who knows….why not just admit it’s a surrogate in the first place. There’s nothing shameful about it and people would probably have more respect/empathy for her wanting to be a mom at 50 than lying about it.

      Sarah Jessica Parker was honest and said she used a surrogate for her twins. I don’t remember seeing any negative comments about that. It was the safest thing to do, and the kids are adorable.

    Optional : I do not think she will do a magizine spread. Too many things can go wrong and the lights are to hot. However she probably will arrange for paparazzi to take pictures of her and her baby bump.

      It is laughable. One because if she WAS really pregnant it would have to be IVF and planned, meaning she would KNOW about her upcoming tour when doing it. Plus, would anyone really care if she did have a surrogate? She denies the first child so she isn’t Mama of the year.

      It is possible that she does want a child and her husband wants an heir. But it’s all fake. She’s bearding for her husband and the baby isn’t really hers. It might be half his, but like her brother Michael, she probably chose a Caucasian or Hispanic egg.

      Maybe she just wants a baby and doesn’t want to deal with all the attention/harassment she’d get if she went public with the surrogate. After all, it’s not like she’s been milking this pregnancy for paparazzi shots. Furthermore, fertility issues are intensely private. And let’s not forget the surrogate – maybe *she* prefers privacy too.

      In the People photoshoot, it is obviously photoshopped. Her head doesn’t even look like it belongs to that body. You can see where the neck looks weird. Sad.
