Glee actors Kevin McHale and Jenna Ushkowitz shared a house in Laurel Canyon. The house was nicknamed “The Love Nest”, and the two would often throw parties that included their colleagues.

According to Naya Rivera:

The Love Nest was also where we got one of our cast mates high for the first time, or at least tried to. We fed him a whole bag of weed gummy bears one New Year’s Eve!

    I have never been deliberately high. The closest I got, and I probably got a little bit high, was when I rode in a van with a bunch of sales people who all toked after shift.

    This disturbs me a great deal since it sounds like the castmate did not know that the gummy bears were laced with marijuana. Naya teels the story as if it’s funny – it isn’t – just like drinks laced with roofies aren’t funny. The cast sounds atrocious and immature.

    Optional Question: Never. I’ve never felt the need or desire to try the stuff. When I was a teen, my family & I were hit head on in our car by a guy who drove while high and we were all injured very seriously.

      … and I agree it’s messed up if the dude didn’t know, that’s like hazing, but it’s NOTHING like roofie-ing someone’s drink. And just for the record though, I think she was more saying the person was either younger or way innocent and/or sheltered and they provided them w the edibles and maybe egged them on like all young people do if someone seems like they’re basically thinking of doing it but are a bit nervous.       that’s the same attitude that nearly killed my niece when some “casual friend” of her roomie’s boy friend slipped a “mint for flavor” into her drink.

      It was PCP and she nearly died. He got away scott free, as the two roommates covered up what they could so there wasn’t enough evidence to hold or even charge the scum.

      And people wonder why Cory relapsed. He was sober years and this show was the worst temptation.

    Chris Colfer/I think 16 or 17. If you’re talking about alcohol, I did shots of Slivovitz with my Stari Tata (grandfather) when I was 9. I had just met him. hahaha

    Chris Colfer. He was younger than most of the cast (I think the only one that was actually high school age in real life).

    I knew that Kevin was a bad kid, I just knew it from the first time I saw his smirky mcsmirk face on The Office. Well I know it wasn’t Cory or Mark, so I’ll say the delightful Harry Shum Jr.
