This was apparently not the first time there had been infidelity in the marriage.

There have been affairs (on both sides) in the marriage over the years, but this is the first time he told her that he was in love with the other woman and that he was leaving her.

The Husband had a long-time affair with this woman.

This was no fling with a groupie! [Husband] and [Mistress] have been together for a long time. He was absolutely in love with her. He wrote her love poems and songs and love letters. They were living together! He was ready to file for divorce from [the wife].

When the wife found out that he was going to file for divorce, she flipped out.

When the divorce news went public, it would make her look bad. [Her Husband] says that is what she cares most about: Her identity, her money, her reputation. He is actually a little afraid of her.

The Wife is much stronger than The Husband. She quickly reeled him back in and crafted a story.

She is not lying to protect him. She is lying to protect herself. She said that he never loved [The Mistress] (absolute rubbish), that she kicked him out of the house (he was already living with [The Mistress]), and that he had a sex addiction (more rubbish). He is not a strong man, though, so he capitulated.

So it sounds like she told these lies to save face. Not his face. Her face. Well, not her original face, of course. That was gone long ago.

    This is Ozzie Osbourne and Sharon Osbourne.

    Usually I think less of a husband cheating on his wife. I’m making an exception in this case. Ozzie is getting up in years and doesn’t have long to know happiness.

    I can barely stand watching Sharon on “The Talk”. She has an opinion on EVERY subject and most of her opinions are to elevate the audiences opinion of her. Then there’s that clone of herself, Kelly. How Ozzie lived in a home with those 2 is beyond belief.

    Ozzie and Sharon . He doesn’t strike me as being the straying type but on their show it was as if he had to beg for sex and she seemed harumph about it . So Ozzie fell for someone who met his needs . Love and lust are entwined. I bet Sharon has strayed unless she just doesn’t care about sex that much anymore . Iciness can hit a female later in life just like impotence can get a man . Still of the two Sharon is definitely the reputation squeamish fame *.

    Why all the hate for Sharon? she bore this guy kids, kept him alive for god knows how long and probably put up with him banging everything that moved when he was capable and not drugged into a stupor. Why can’t she enjoy her own fame, money and talent that she’s rightly cultivated? She’s a celebrity in her own right and many (like myself) find her much more interesting that Ozzy and the kids.

    I’d let the coot cheat but not divorce her.

I watch The Talk regularly and boy was she ever painted as the long suffering wife, not surprised to hear she had her dalliances as well (though I can’t say I blame her). I knew there was more to the story than what she was saying, as there always is. I would be afraid of her too if I was Ozzy, I think she could kill someone if provoked!

    I have to give her props though for admitting to her surgeries. That is rare.

    I find it comical that Ozzy has a ‘sex addiction’. He can barely lumber around upright or urp out a legible sentence because, years of drug and booze. And yet he has such an awesome bohner that needs multiple women to tame it? HA. I think the both of them are full of sheet and I don’t give a hang what happens.

      I agree with you. He would just be looking for the mistress to lead him around like Sharon does. The hairdresser dodged a bullet if you ask me. Is the money worth it?? No thanks. Mind you, I doubt there is much sex going on between those two.

    I didn’t believe her story but I’m still on her side. She may not be perfect but she’s put up with a lot and stuck by him when the times were hard due to his addictions.
