Sibling Sneak

siblings 4[Blind Gossip] These two siblings, who are just a few years apart, are both in the acting business.

They love each other, but the younger one is definitely booking more roles than the other.

They are represented by different agents. The older one is now asking their agent to quietly find out which film roles that the younger one is up for… to see if they can be put up for the roles themselves!

    Might be the Fannings. I haven’t seen Dakota in anything for a while.

    I DESPISE my ‘brother’. He ruined my life. Wouldn’t piss on him if he was on fire. I hope he rots in hell.

    Hemsworth Brothers? Liam is the younger one. I could be wrong because they both seem pretty busy.

    Me and my brother had different interests growing up so it didn’t really become an issue.

    I’m the oldest and have 2 brothers – we didn’t really compete.

    Elle and Dakota Fanning? 4 years apart, and from what I can find online, Dakota is with CAA while Elle is with WME. Dakota is mostly booking indies and small films, while Elle has several projects booked for 2016 and 2017.

    I’d say Hillary and Haylie Duff but I thought Haylie notoriously put herself up against Haylie for stuff and stole it. Haylie IS indeed the younger one by 3 years but is Haylie really any competition for her? Also the Fannings don’t make sense because I can’t see Elle suddenly booking more than Dakota and I think the 17 to 22 age difference might be too much at this point?

      Just thought Kate Mara trying to take the wind out of Mara, but doesn’t Kate work constantly and Rooney is more notoriously picky?

    Older sibling= Dakota Fanning
    Younger= Elle Fanning.
    Dakota is pretty but Elle is beautiful and young. Dakota doesn’t have the same “It” quality Elle has.

    When my family got a kitten, my sister and I “competed” to name him… I picked the best name. Years later, when our family got a second kitten, my parents told my sister she could pick this time. Unfortunately, every name my sister picked was dreadful, so once again I named the kitten.

    Based on the similar blind, I’m going with Alec Baldwin and his younger (much hotter) brother Billy (or do they call him William now?)
    Though I haven’t heard much about Billy getting a lot of roles.

    I’m betting a lot of people will guess Chris and Liam Hemsworth, but I think Chris actually is getting more roles than Liam. (I also think Liam is the one with a bit of an inferiority complex, given the way he snapped at a reporter who he thought had called him by his brother’s name.)

    There are probably multiple good guesses here but… Luke & Owen Wilson spring to mind as being similar enough that casting agents could switch out one for the other. Also, so far for 2016, Luke has double the movie credits on IMDb.

    The only guess I have is Elle and Dakota Fanning, even though they are more than a ‘few’ years apart. That is, if 3 = a few.

    I have never competed with my sibling on anything. We are two different people, with two opposite careers, and live in two different states, so it would be a very slim chance.

    Depended on what. If we were competing for something that requires skill, I won as I’m more competitive but if it was something we both wanted from the parents, she won as she’s my mother’s favorite.

    Mostly education. One getting a higher degree had nothing to do with the other getting it or not. Both could get it by working on student loans.

      It’s the Fannings
      Elle is getting all the good roles
      I like Dakota but Elle is more beautful not so cutesy
      So her range of roles is greater

      Then you apparently missed the SAG awards from a month ago where Rooney took Kate as her “date” and they were photographed and interviewed all over the place. They’re tight.

    Rooney Mara has been getting a lot of prominent roles the past couple of years. Kate Mara, mehh not so much.The picture shows four siblings, and Kate and Rooney have two brothers.

    I’m going to say this is Dakota and Elle Fanning. I can think of some other sibling pairs in Hollywood, but those two girls look enough alike that I could see them stepping on each others’ toes when it comes to getting roles.

      But is the young one really landing all the plum roles? Dakota is by far the bigger star.

      Dakota used to be the bigger star…not anymore. Elle has more projects in the pipeline (7 to her sister’s four), and she is much more in the tabloid photos than Dakota is. I also think Dakota has a bit of a quirky look to her while Elle has definitely blossomed.
