[Blind Gossip] This talented actor and actress are both big stars. They are married and have a bunch of Oscar/Emmy/Sag/Golden Globes nominations/wins between them. Almost always at The Oscars. They went to an Oscars party. According to our spy:

I was watching them both. There was no absolutely contact between her and [Husband] the entire time. NONE. Stayed on opposite sides of the room. They didn’t talk to each other – didn’t even LOOK at each other – the whole time!

The funniest part was when someone asked if they could bring [Husband] over to get a photo of the two of them together. [Wife] just smiled sweetly, said, “No thank you,” and then turned around and walked away! She was very polite, but you could tell she was annoyed at the question.

The optional question to this blind item was: Will they divorce?

Well, we now have an answer: Yes, they will!

Both Pitt and Jolie are both Oscar winners (Pitt for 12 Years A Slave and Jolie for Girl Interrupted).

They did a film together in 2015 (By The Sea) which was neither a commercial nor critical success. Neither that film nor any of their individual projects for that year were nominated for Oscars.

While they chose not to attend the Oscars ceremony, they recognized the importance of their presence at the the professional parties around the Oscars, and did attend at least one.

However, as this blind item details, they barely spoke to one another and did not want to be photographed together.

This was the second incident in two months about which we wrote a blind item that pointed towards trouble in their marriage. As you now know, they just announced that they are getting a divorce.

Jolie files for divorce from Pitt

Angelina Jolie Pitt has filed for divorce from Brad Pitt, bringing an end to what began as the world’s most tabloid headline-generating romance before morphing into a star-studded engine of family and philanthropy.

Jolie Pitt, 41, cited “irreconcilable difference” in divorce papers filed Monday in Los Angeles. She is seeking physical custody of their six children, with visitation rights for Pitt.

An attorney for Jolie Pitt, Robert Offer, said Tuesday that her decision to divorce was made “for the health of the family.” The filing dated the couple’s separation to last Thursday.

“I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the well being of our kids. I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time,” Pitt said in a statement.

    Im thinking an older hollywood couple given the amount of awards they both have won.

    possibly Felicity Huffman. Jennifer and Ben would be too obvious and it wouldnt be shocking to see them not together at these parties.

    Cannot be Jen and Ben. It is no secret that they are separated, probably divorcing, and as much as I love Jen, she does not get nominated for big acting awards, she isn’t in those kinds of movies. I don’t even think Brangelina were at the Oscars or after parties were they? But also, they do not get nominated for Oscars and Sag awards all that much. Naomi and Liev are not married. Zeta-Jones and Douglas have not done much lately. I think this has to be Felicity Huffman and William H. Macy.

      Sadly I agree with you. Definitely not Ben and Jen because that is old news. Brangelina nor the Clooneys were at the Oscars from what I saw of the telecast. Only other possibility I can think of is Warren Beatty and Annette Benning but they haven’t acted in awhile. If the Pitt’s or Clooney’s had been at a party I think we would have seen pictures but not necessarily the Beatty’s.

    I don’t think it’s Jen & Ben. According to the LA times and several other sources, they were cordial to each other and hung out together for some of the time.

    But I could be wrong. Anyway, Schrieber and Watts seems like a better guess although they aren’t married.

    Pretty sure this IS jen and ben, but the blind is misleading because it suggests the two are pretending the marriage is intact, when in fact they’ve already announced their separation and intent to divorce.

    Why would this be juicy gossip if it’s Affleck and Garner? And why would anyone ask Jen to bring Ben over for a pic of the two together? Nah. This isn’t them.

    Probably. They are close to 10 years. That seems to be the magic break-up number.

      California has a 10 year ‘long duration marriage’ rule. I’m not from Cali, but as I understand it, if you make it to 10 years, your prenup goes bye bye and you can make a run at your spouse’s net worth.

      I don’t know if that would apply to Naomi Watts/Liev Schrieber. I think she might make more money than him.

    I don’t think they’ll divorce. Most Hollywood marriages aren’t real anyway.

    Probably not, but Brangelina? (Though I wouldn’t exactly call Brad ‘talented’.. or Angie, really, for that matter…)

    Will they divorce? If it’s them, nope. Their brand relies too heavily on their relationship and they have too many kids together to consider that an option right now.

    I hope I am wrong but the talented William H Macy and Felicity Huffman have a slew of awards and nominations between them. I like the both of them and would feel sad if it were them. They always appeared to be a solid couple, but appearance are sometimes deceiving, they are great actors.
    Will they get a divorce, well if they aren ,t happy, I guess they should.

      That was my guess too from the second I started reading the blind. I also see Felicity Huffman being polite to others while declining a potentially awkward situation if they are having marital problems.

    Sounds like Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck. They were spotted at Vanity Fair party but not together.

      Why are so many guessing these two? They’re separated, so it’d hardly be a surprise if they were avoiding each other at a party. It has to be a couple we all think is currently together and doing well, unless the person reporting the action doesn’t know they’re split. 🙂
