[Blind Gossip] If you’ve seen the photos of her husband out with a very young model, it should come as no surprise that this angelic film actress has separated from her showbiz husband.
This is NOT a recent occurrence. They actually separated earlier this year! We also learned that the model is not the first woman the husband has seen outside of his marriage.
While it must hurt to see her husband fooling around with a woman half her age, it shouldn’t come as a complete surprise to our actress that he is moving on while still married. We recall that when our actress first met him many years ago… he left his wife for her.
The actress and her husband do not have any kids together, so the divorce shouldn’t be too complicated. If they do make a public announcement, it will likely be done quietly and over the holidays to minimize the amount of attention.

As Kate Beckinsale works on her upcoming film Underworld 5 in Prague, her husband, Len Wiseman has been spending time with a young model back in Los Angeles.
A source close to the couple tells People that Beckinsale and Wiseman have been separated for several months.
“They are still friendly and spend time together in L.A. when Kate is there,” says the source, adding that “there has been no drama.”
“It’s just not Kate’s style,” says the source. “They have both had complicated schedules and have grown apart.”
That’s the big announcement? Four lines? Short and vague and no drama? NO DRAMA? Hahahaha! There’s been PLENTY of drama!
Keep in mind that Beckinsdale and Wiseman met when they worked together on Underworld in 2002. At the time, she was in a long-term relationship with actor Michael Sheen (who was also in Underworld) and Wiseman was married to someone else.
Of course they both tried to play it like they had each left their respective relationships before they got together with each other, but the timing was suspect.
The couple got married in 2004. They did not have any children together, but Beckinsdale did bring her daughter with Michael Sheen to the marriage.
The marriage was constant drama. Beckinsdale and Wiseman married in 2004, split up in 2007, got back together, and then split up again in 2009. Kate even moved to London with her daughter in 2009, but after a few months, Len joined them in London. They subsequently reconciled and moved back to Los Angeles together in late 2009 or early 2010.
Recently, Wiseman has been creeping around with a model half his age. Beckinsdale and Wiseman are both 42. The model is in her early twenties.
Drama, drama, drama.
This is not just a case of a couple taking a breather. As we mentioned earlier, there WILL be a divorce announcement. If they are smart, they will file over the holidays when nobody is paying attention. They released the separation announcement on a Friday afternoon, so they are clearly trying to keep this low key.
So, did she lose him the same way she got him? Yes.

Did you catch the clues? “Angel” refers to two films starring Beckinsdale, Snow Angels and Face of an Angel, while “recall” refers to her film Total Recall. No, there was just no way to shove Underworld and Pearl Harbor into the original blind item as clues.
Actually, the only thing more disastrous than this marriage was Pearl Harbor, starring Beckinsdale and that modern master of bad husbandry, Ben Affleck. We were going to attach a video clip, but we fell asleep halfway through it. So here’s a pretty photo instead:

Kate Beckinsale and her husband Len Wiseman have called it quits.
His court documents purportedly state that he and Beckinsale have both waived any right to spousal support, which suggests there is a prenup.
The former couple met in 2003 while working on the first Underworld film together, which Wiseman directed, and they later tied the knot in 2004. The two do not have any children together.

As if finding out that your husband is boning a girl half your age led to months of couples yoga and picnics on the beach and Downton Abbey marathons where they snuggled on the couch and hand-fed each other strawberries.
Nope. It led to plenty of drama. And a divorce.
Michael Sheen is a nice guy, but somewhere deep down inside, he has to feel some measure of satisfaction that his ex-wife is now divorcing the man she cheated on him with while they were married. If he’s not feeling the satisfaction, perhaps his new girlfriend Sarah Silverman can help him find the irony and humor in that.
