[The Spec] Adam Lambert claims he has had relationships with several male Hollywood stars who are not openly gay.
The 33-year-old singer has refused to reveal the identity of his former lovers and blames a macho attitude among leading industry figures for their refusal to come out as homosexual.
He said: “I’ve been with a few of them. Whether it’s music or acting, you’ve got to remember that those industries are primarily run by men, so maybe it’s about that.
“But with women being the primary movie-goers and record-buyers, surely it shouldn’t matter so much?”
The ‘Never Close Our Eyes’ hitmaker – who performs with Queen – has always been open about his own sexuality, but has admitted he has had liaisons with women in the past.
He told the June issue of Glamour magazine: “I think women are beautiful – and I always notice when girls smell really good. Like most gay men, I’m drawn to really confident women … I have slept with a woman before
“I did it for the first time when I was 29. It was a random thing but I was very curious. It felt great.”
Adam’s latest single ‘Ghost Town’ is out in the UK on June 7 and the album ‘The Original High’ is out on the June 15 and can be pre-ordered now on iTunes.
