[Blind Gossip] We just got some news about this fauxmance that was set to expire two weeks from now!
We told you that if things went well that the contract might be extended after the initial month.
Well, it just happened! The guy’s team is discussing extending the contract for one more month. This means that, as of now, instead of ending around New Year’s, the relationship would end approximately the first week of February.
Why the extension? Well, the fauxmance accomplishing its objectives. It is helping the guy stay in the headlines and is helping to sell his newest project.
The girl is also benefiting from the arrangement. To her credit, she has been easy for him to get along with, and has been a real pro in playing it coy but still cooperating in all of those public-but-pretending-to-be-private meetups. Not a huge surprise given that she comes from a family that knows how to work the publicity machine. Needless to say, the girl’s side is absolutely thrilled with the renewal.
Keep in mind that fake relationship contracts usually run for a minimum of three or four months, so the fact that this one is only being renewed on a month-to-month basis indicates that the guy’s side is playing it very conservatively.
They definitely learned their lesson during the last contracted romance for this same guy. Remember that fauxmance? It occurred almost exactly a year ago. Is the timing a coincidence? Nope. Last year’s fauxmance was designed to have exactly the same impact that this one is: to boost two public profiles, and to sell product during the holiday season.
Besides the month-to-month extensions, there will be another difference between last year’s contract and this year’s contract. This time around, he will not be “exclusively” dating and will be “seen” with other girls. It’s all part of the “stud” image his management team is trying to cultivate for him. Are you buying it?
The most important thing for his fans to know is that this relationship – like the one from a year ago – is a fake. He was not interested in that one, and he is not interested in this one.

We told you that this couple would break up in early February… and we were correct! Harry Styles and Kendall Jenner have “broken up.”
We put those last words in quotation marks because they were never really “dating” in the first place. It was just a PR arrangement, similar to his arrangement with Taylor Swift a year ago. Harry had an album to promote, Kendall had a modeling career to launch, and the arrangement worked for both of them.
His publicists have gotten a lot smarter since last year’s fiasco with Taylor Swift (see the links below for details about what was really going on in the Swifty relationship!). They kept the initial contract very short with the option for equally brief extensions.
We told you that it would be over in early February, and, indeed, it was. Although the “breakup announcement” was just made this weekend, the contract actually finished before Valentine’s Day. As noted in the article below, Harry and Kendall broke up before London Fashion Week (Februry 14-18). From The Daily Mail:

Harry Styles and Kendall Jenner have ended their relationship after three months, it has been claimed.
The 20-year-old One Direction star and 18-year-old Kendall are reported to have called time on their long-distance romance to instead focus on their respective careers.
A source told The Sun: ‘Kendall has been focusing on her modelIing and Harry is preparing for work on the band’s fourth album, as well as their stadium tour.
‘The reality is that with everything they both have going on, it’s impossible to sustain anything serious.’
The pair first started dating in November after meeting in Los Angeles, and then confirmed their romance with a skiing holiday over the Christmas holidays.
Kendall’s recent trip to London, which saw her model during London Fashion Week, was also reported to have been to host a party for Harry’s birthday.
However, sources said that the pair’s relationship had actually come to an end before then – and the 1D heartthrob did his utmost to avoid any awkward run-ins with his very recent ex.
A source told the Daily Star Sunday: ‘Harry purposefully didn’t go to the Topshop show or have his planned party so people wouldn’t speculate about him and Kendall.’
But despite the pair’s time together coming to an end, Harry and Kendall are still said to be on good terms as their split was anything but acrimonious.
The source added to the Sun: ‘There’s been no major fallout. They’re definitely still friends ad haven’t ruled anything out in the future.’
Harry and Kendall got along fine during their “relationship” and are genuinely friendly with each other. You will continue to see them together from time to time – undoubtedly accompanied by speculation about whether they are rekindling their relationship – but know that it will just be good publicity for both. They hang out with some of the same people, and will likely attend many of the same parties and events in the future with absolutely no animosity.
This was a great example of a successful PR arrangement. Both parties had the same expectations going into it, both benefited from the publicity for their individual endeavors, both adhered to the short initial contract time and extension with no conflicts, and the parties got along well during the contract and got out as friends. Well done, all!
BTW, all the hate we get from One Direction fans on Twitter totally cracks us up! We tell them exactly what is happening with the 1D boys, they scream at us and call us liars and tell us how much they hate us… and then the facts eventually show that we were right!
