Pat was fired after complaining about Lara Spencer in an email to colleagues. This was a couple of years after his drunk dialing incident and after a stint in rehab. He sent the email on a Monday, we caught wind of his impending firing on Wednesday, he got fired on Thursday, and then the mainstream press wrote about it on Friday.
