First person to pop into my head is Diablo Cody and the movie Juno.

agreed. that was a really good movie but i think both of those sisters were totally selfish.
I hated that movie, actually. I thought it was very self serving and all the characters were trying way too hard to be quirky. And I didn’t understand Hathaway’s nomination, because to me, all she did was sulk during the film. And wear bad eyeliner.

Amen to that, I watched the movie and barely got through the sulking self serving grandstanding and said “that’s it? THAT’S what all the fuss is about?!”. I got so irritated with Hathaway’s character (and acting) I didn’t finish the movie and I will never get that hour of my life back.
