However, this actress’ invitation actually came with a warning!

She was told by [The Brand] in no uncertain terms that she was not to show up at the Met Gala unless she could prove her sobriety when the invites went out. [The Brand] does not need the kind of mess she caused [on a previous occasion], nor do they want such embarrassment in front of Anna Wintour.

    Sarah Jessica Parker missed her first Met Gala since 2010…..she’s been a staple and always goes with the theme. The reason she gave was she was filming for her show….that films in NYC.

    Not sure but does she have a secret problem???

    Wild guess about a wild girl and maybe it is mostly an act and she is known for comedy but I am going to guess Amy Schumer . She was on Colbert and she attended the Met and I believe it was a designer gown she wore. . She did her usual shtick because Amy is not MS. wholesome but I don’t know whether she has a drinking problem or if she just gets occasionally smashed and kicks up the raunch when she has indulged. Amy is so sexy and is good girl friend material if you don’t want a clinger on .

    My brain went straight to alicia vikander because of all the pillrehab reports lately but in terms of actually embarrassing the brand I couldn’t think of an example for her which brought me to Reese Witherspoon but she hasn’t been getting bad press lately…quite the opposite. So all of this to say….I know nothing

    Selena Gomez, for Coach. sobriety struggles in the past and the similar blind is about Bieber.
    She WAS at the Met Gala (with the Weeknd) so must be clean. But she looked so boring. Theme was Commes des Garcons (super arty/edgy). She shows up in this floaty, pale pink, lingerie-looking thing — by Coach of course. Looked like she was headed to a prom. I never understand why celebs bother to go if they’re not going to really participate.

      I COMPLETELY agree!!! I wondered when the Met Gala turned from an elegant affair into a ridiculous parade of B celebrity freaks. And it was exactly when Anna relented and let “The A$$” attend. Anna Wintour, you’ve jumped the shark.

    Alicia Vikander has been said to have a drug addiction and she has a contract with Louis Vuitton. But I don’t remember her causing anything public at all.

      JLaw was seen on set working on her new movie yesterday in Europe so this can’t be about her.

      I would guess Alica Vikander as she is known to have substance abuse problems and all the other blinds about her.

      Definitely not JLaw , she’s currently filming Red Sparrow in Budapest/Vienna/London. I’m sure Dior was desperate to have her attend, given the press and publicity she would have automatically given them if she had been able to go. The suggestion that SHE was desperate to go but that Dior were the ones hesitating is very silly.
      I think this blind is clearly about Alicia Vikander, who is a very desperate and messy fameseeker who is currently struggling with addiction…

    The only actress I can think of who’s been the popular guess in recent blinds for substance abuse issues is Alicia Vikander, who’s done campaigns for Louis Vuitton. I can’t think of a prior “mess” she caused though unless it just wasn’t public.
