A short lull was planned while they were shifting cast and crew and equipment from one country to another country.

Well, that lull got extended by a considerable margin.

What? This is a very high-budget film with a huge crew! What happened? Why in the world would they add unnecessary days or weeks of inactivity to the shooting schedule?

It turns out that the young female lead needed a “break.” She was suffering from “exhaustion.” By claiming that she is “exhausted”, producers could take her off line to taper her off of her “medication.”

They planned to have her pop her head up every few days for a public appearance or a photo op with her “boyfriend” so you wouldn’t suspect anything is wrong.

That concludes our air quotes for today.

We wish our young actress well. We just hope she doesn’t end up like Chris Farley.

    If this is Alicia Vikander, I thought she & Fassy broke up. And isn’t her pain due to injuries from her younger days as a dancer? Not that , that’s an excuse, but I hope the studio can get her the best Drs & help. IMO she is a beautiful & talented girl. Sad situation.

    she owned up to abusing prescription pills for a time as a teenager. i believe she still has issues with drugs and alcohol. she is also known to enjoy gambling. aside from alicia’s fans, most observers believe that mf and av are all business and no pleasure

    omg. This must be Alicia Vikander.

    She has an addiction. It is a disease. It is NOt her fault. Not about fault at all.

    I am glad she is getting treated. It is MUCH better than pushing and pushing her until she OD’s or something.

    However, one wonders how good the rehab place is if all they want to do is get her on her feet ASAP. That won’t work. Breaking addiction takes time and money. And support.

    It’s been hinted before that Alicia Vikander had a drug problem, is she still filming Tomb Raider? is it a huge budget?

    For huge budget and several countries what comes to mind is Mission: Impossible, which started filming, which has Rebecca Ferguson and Vanessa Kirby but I know nothing about these two to guess if they have a drug problem.
    BUT, it’d seem something MI team would want to keep under wraps to avoid troubles with the future promotion

    I don’t think the pattern of photo leaks her pr follows pays off. Lots of fans question the photo & fandoms get divisive. Who pays for that break anyway? Production is ok with it? Strange.
