Once she hit the big time a couple of years back, her publicist made the rounds of her pals and bought up all the photo evidence of her former fun.

We know it’s hard to believe, but our Little Miss Hathaway was quite the bad girl back in her Vasser days. She’s kept quiet up until now, and she’s breaking the news in an interesting way: as a show of support for Linsdsay Lohan! From RadarOnline:

Anne Hathaway wants you to know that she has more in common with Lindsay Lohan than meets the eye!
The family-friendly actress has a squeaky clean reputation in Hollywood – minus the scandal surrounding her fraudulent ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri, who is currently serving 4 1/2 years in prison – but the celebrated thespian reveals in a new interview that she is no saint.
“Thanks to Mom, I never sit in judgment,” she explains in an interview with The Sun about what her mother taught her. “Lindsay Lohan and I have more in common than people think. We’ve all done things we shouldn’t.”
The 29-year-old, who rose to fame in 2001’s The Princess Diaries, explains that, unlike Lohan though, she got through her “bad girl” stage without anyone knowing about it.
“It is just that I did stuff at college when nobody knew about it, so I’m not a saint. I wasted time doing self-destructive things.”
“I found out you can only dance on so many table tops. I got all that out of my system and I am healthy and grounded.”
Next up for Hathaway, who recently got engaged to her longtime boyfriend Adam Shulman, is the latest installment of the Batman franchise, The Dark Knight Rises, where she shows off her fabulous figure in a latex bodysuit playing Catwoman.
Now, Annie doesn’t get into the nitty-gritty details about what she did in the past, but she may at some point in the near future. In the meantime, we can sum it up for you in three words: Lots. Of. Drugs.
But don’t expect to see any photographic evidence of her partying days. Her team went around buying them up years ago. We also heard that there were a couple of videos, but those are now in Anne’s possession as well.

Agreed. It seems that every “starlet” doesn’t go to school. And then we ask them for opinions on things? HA! The fool is the one who listens to them. Anyhoo, my guess is on anne Hathaway. She has an upcoming film called “Rachel Getting Married” and her character is a recovering addict or whatever. She’s been interviewing…and I believe I read her say that she is not as squeaky clean as everyone thinks. LOL if it is her! Who cares? Enjoy yourself! (She was Miss Disney after all….Princess Diaries. Something must be at their craft service table so to speak).

I read about Anne alluding to her drug use many times. She’s using it as publicity to widen her acting reach. So obvious.
I used to hang with the wealthy drug crowd. And I used to hang with the not so wealthy trashy drug crowd. And I can tell you that they are two totally separate crowds.
Anne is NOTHING like Lindsay Lohan and both those girls know it. Anne’s “support” of Lindsay Lohan is self-serving publicity for Anne ONLY.
What Anne & Lindsay totally do have in common, however, is that they are BOTH *HOLES. Huge *HOLES. That’s “sweet Anne Hathaway’s” real dirty little secret.

Not really. Me and my friends never did drugs in college. Not even weed. The most was getting ridiculously drunk once in a while, that’s bout it.
Agree, Sandy & Jenb. I’ve never done drugs either so needless to say, I didn’t experiment with anything in college. It seems that some assume that all college kids play around with drugs at one time or another.

I think it is pretty lame of Lindsay to claim that all college kids get out of control with sex, drugs & alcohol. Just because Anne did drugs in college and is now apparently “grounded” does not mean that behaviour is normal either. Besides, Lindsay is no longer college aged and no one ever said that addiction is a normal part of college life anyway. Anne is comparing apples to pears.
Anne’s just saying that because she wants grittier roles that go against her type. The type that she has right now in Hollywood is the “good girl next door” and/or the geeky girl. She wants to play against type for a gritty role & a chance at an Oscar. She couldn’t give 2 sh*ts about Lohan and her probs.
