Jigga Needs To Show This Rapper Some Respect

[Hollywood Street King] He’s known as one of the Greatest MCs of All Time.

There Ain’t No Half-Steppin’ with this Bed-Stuy brother, who Jigga has to thank for giving him his first shot on the mic.

Hold up! Don’t think for one second Mr. Carter’s shown dude any gratitude. Know why? Jigga’s been fakin’ the funk! When Hov landed his Juice he quickly forget his grassroots, failing to give our blind item subject the Nuff Respect he’s Due for puttin’ him on. Don’t believe me… Just ask Positive K.

They’re just illiterate, so I don’t consider it

Feedin off poison that’s pollutin their mind

And that’s the reason I don’t swine

I gotta maintain, accelerate my brain

Since the recent death of his mother — who lost her battle to stage four cancer last week — our blind item subject is reported to be suffering a deep depression during his mourning. Now can you guess the legendary lyricist who we’re sending out our deepest condolences to?

“What’s your man got to do with me?” That’s over 20 years go! Loved it too but now I feel so old.

Never heard of this song before.I was a teenager back in 1992,but i was more interested in rock and heavy metal.I had to google the song’s name to know what kind of music it was,and i was never a fan of hip-hop…now i want to hear it only to know if it is that good or not.lol

You never know the back story though. Maybe Rakim got some coins out of the deal…who knows.

Big Daddy Kane. He’s from the Brooklyn neighbourhood Bedford-Stuyvesant (Bed-Stuy) and wrote the song Half-Steppin’.

Deepest sympathies. His mom died just last week, so depression is perfectly normal. Grieving lasts at least a year and honestly, a mom’s death is not something you just get over. Stay strong.

Yeah the correct guess is Big Daddy Kane. Losing a loved one is so * hard. Feel so bad for him. I notice not a word said against that piece of toxic * * JayZ….I loathe his ugly * ass…for someone that damn physically unattractive with mediocre talent (he ain’t no Tupac) to reach such a level of fame & fortune ….sold his worthless soul to the devil. I love the thought that one day this vile man will join his maker in the pit’s of Hell.

I believe it’s Jaz O, I thought he was the one who gave Hov his first opportunity on a semi major rap song?
