He won. If we just go with best actor and best supporting actors that are married (and this year only) we have
Josh Brolin (who is my guess)
Robert Downey Jr.
Richard Jenkins
Sean Penn won but he’s the only other married guy. Those are just the actors maybe someone else wants to do the rest of the people idk though Josh Brolin is my guess. He and Diane were rather…. cold to each other during the ceremony.

I also thought Sean Penn specifically since there were actually rumors that named him for it (I think it was with Lindsay Lohan). However, I quickly changed my mind as I remembered (and as kiki pointed out) he’s an oscar winner not a nominee.
Just because he’s a winner doesn’t mean he’s not a nominee as well… one comes before the others and provides a much wider scope of peeps… but he’s still a nominee even if he did win

Sean Penn is my guess, sadly. He is a distructive and tortured person, he is always willing to suffer for his art… it is what makes him so successful on screen. His wife deserves better, he didn’t even thank her.
Sean Penn and Lohan? OMG! Didn’t he have a thing with Eve? He didn’t even thank his wife when he won.
He didnt thank his wife cause he wanted more time to talk about prop8 and equality for all(go Sean!) him and Robin told an interviwer that.
If they said Oscar Winner it wouldn’t be a blind item…it would be “Hey guess what Sean Penn did!”

I agree with the Penn/Lohan guess. Lindsay is a broke wreck reduced to golddigging. Maybe she heard Sean looks after his side pieces and was/is looking for a benefactor. He did bail Eve (rapper/actress) out of jail. Rumor has it they had a fling at one point, too.

Totally Penn! There was a shot last night when Robin put her hand on his leg and you could see him tense up and do a quick eye dart. Then that forced kiss. It confirmed my suspicions.
It’s Sean Penn, but he wasn’t cheating with Lohan. Well, at least not last night – he cheated with his ex-wife!
Sean was at Madonna’s Post-Party last night and he and Madonna were way too chummy with each other. Both of them also disappeared for a significant period of time during the party.
BTW, Lohan was also at the party last night, however she spent most of the time dancing with Sam, and they left together around 4 AM.
Sean left the bash really late.
It must be Sean Penn. His wife practically had to tackle him to kiss him when he won the Oscar. He didn’t thank her or mention their children. As he said in his acceptance speech he really doesn make it hard for people to like him – he’s a jerk. If it’s true that he’s cheating on her with Lilo, Robin should kick his sorry butt to the curb!! She is gorgeous, she should be with someone who treats her with respect!

Even if this was posted before last night’s ceremony, Penn has won an Oscar before. I’m going with Brolin on this one.
Sean purposely doesn’t thank his wife so he has more time to thank other people or to talk about other stuff. I think its brolin. Does anyone else remember he pushed diane lane off their bed once and was arrested for domestic violence?
I think it’s Penn and Robin Wright. However, she’s not the faithful wifey that everyone’s saying. A couple of weeks before the Penns publicly announced they were separating, I saw her in a Santa Monica pub kissing it up with Jason Patrick. This was not the action of a faithful wife. I think she knows that his publicity is good for her, negative or positive. I also think she still loves Jason.
As I said, Penn does cheat on Robin, he’s being doing it for years. If it was written before the Oscar’s then it could be about him and Lohan. However, I know that at the Post-Oscar party it was with someone else. Can’t say for sure that it involved actual sex, but he behaved not like a married man should… with the hostess with the mostess.
Robin is probably well aware of all the cheating. Sean Penn has a lot of money. I’d stay married to him for that reason alone. Plus don’t they have kids? She’s probably all “stay together for the kids” which leads to really screwed up kids but again money=stuff stuff=happy.
So I’ve changed my vote to Sean Penn (although Josh Brolin is still totally unfaithful)
I hate that I went there.
Sean probably hooked up with Madonna that is why she didn’t bring Jesus. Although he also brought along his son to the party so that would have been a bit difficult. Brolin is a total cheater too. That’s why those two hang and so much together.

mbizzle, Sean brought his son to the VF bash, but not to Madonna’s party at Guy Oseary’s house. He went there solo – no wife, no kids.

Not sure if this is related but it sure seemed odd.
