That’s my guess too. The Beckhams have plenty of A-list friends, and the vague “celebrity parents” makes me think it’s not an A-list acting couple themselves. Maybe having a new baby sister is making one of the boys act out even more than usual.

My first thought was Pax, but then I re-read and saw ‘child star’…with A-list parents, I would say this is Jaden. Although it boggles my mind as to how Jada is A-list, unless by association.
The clue says “A-list pals” and the Smiths definitely have A-list pals. Jaden himself could definitely be considered close to A list if not already A list since he’s starred in two award-winning movies and his Karate Kid remake grossed well over $350 million internationally.

My bet would be on Kingston Rossdale, who looks like a terror to handle judging by all the photos out there, if it wasn’t for the “child star” part. I think it would be kind of weird to call a thirteen-year-old (aka Jaden Smith) a “mini-terror”, but he is kind of small…I’ve got nothing.

It’s Jaden Smith for sure! I’ve witnessed his behavior with a nanny and bodyguard. It was right after he starred in The Pursuit of Happiness.
Before dismissing some of these kids for not being “stars,” please bear in mind that it does NOT say “child actor,” which would be a direct point at Jaden. Suri, Kingston, Pax & Shiloh (Max, Emme, Zuma, etc.) are all mini-stars in their own rights–being followed by paps, tapped for modeling jobs and getting headlines and covers on national magazines. I agree that “he” certainly means we are talking about a boy, but I think all of these kids could be legitimately considered stars. That being said, I am going with James Wilkie Broderick, as he is a NYer and could be acting out due to parental discord.
I really think that “child star” is referring to a kid with some kind of entertainment career (singing or acting) of their own.
And James Wilkie seems like an unlikely choice… I don’t think I’ve even seen him photographed in the last couple years.
While I agree that “child star” isn’t exactly specific, I feel like maybe they are hinting that the child is a little better known than, say, a celebrity kid who we just see in candid pix with said star parents. I mean, these kids are stars, getting their picture snapped almost daily just for being a child of a star. But that would garner no LEADS whatsoever.
I also don’t think people should read too much into the picture, as this is not a BG blind item, so its prolly a stock photo of a spoiled, terrible kid lol.
kw- child star is essentially an actor. jaden smith is by far- the most logical choice. james wilkie broderick? i and many others have never heard of the kid. he is definitely not a star. perhaps local mini-celebrity in his neighborhood. i think your definition of star is a bit loose.
jaden smith is much, much more known. and i saw a minute of the kid on one of those talk shows (tonight show?- can’t remember) and in the short time i saw him, he came across as a little jerk who thought he was all that and a hill of beans. he definitely fits the bill.
Just for something different — I’ll go with Ashley Simpson’s son, Bronx Mowgli. Just taking a cue from the little boy in the NY shirt, about the same & the blonde hair.

Little kid in the picture is blond – and little. The first little blond male celebspawn with parents that would have A list pals that popped into my head was Kingston Rossdale. Jaden Smith is too old and big to be called a “mini terror” and too old for people to be hoping that “the kid’s not coming.” Only really young children are forced to “come along” with their parents. So whoever this kid is, he’s obviously very young. And probably blond, going by the picture hint.
I also agree with KWDragon’s comment about “child star” vs. “child actor.” Nowadays thanks to the internet and surge in tabloid media, celebs’ kids are equally as famous as their parents, getting magazine covers and photographed for the pages of US and People and everything else, even though they’re really little and haven’t done a thing themselves to warrant the attention and fame, other than being a famous person’s offspring. Hell, I saw a pic of a guy out there who tattooed the image of Maddox Jolie onto his forecep. O.o Talk about “child star.”

Saying “a child star” strongly implies a child who acts or who has acted. Otherwise it would just say “a child of celebrity parents” or something. I’ve never known a non-acting child to be called a “child star.”

If it helps at all, the original photo of that kid comes from a football game in England and he wasn’t wearing a Yankees top. The Yankees top is a clue.
