[BlindGossip] New faux couple alert! She’s a beautiful up and coming actress. He’s already starred in several movies and is a teen favorite.  She has a big film opening very soon, but needs a higher profile so she can score top billing in a film. He has several films opening this year – and another half dozen in development – but could use a date. With a girl. They make a very attractive fake couple, they share an agent, and their faux union has the blessing of their respective PR teams, so… bring on the fake dates, the red carpets, and the paparazzi!

A gorgeous young couple, popular actors, hot films, is spotted out on several dates. What could possibly be the problem? It’s all fake, people. Faaake, fake, fake, fake, fake!

Zac Efron isn’t even that good at pretending he’s in love. From Celebrity Dirty Laundry:

Zac Efron spoke of marriage but not to the woman who is his allegedly his current girlfriend, Lily Collins. Zac has previously been associated with Vanessa Hudgens and apparently successfully fended off advances from Demi Moore, prior to her overdose and alleged rehabilitation.

But Zac made it clear in an interview with Woman’s Health that he wants the woman he marries to be ambitious but laid back – a rare combination and one difficult to maintain. Ambition in Hollywood does not always seem to come along with good character but of course young Zac never did mention character… what a shock.

The 24-year-old Zac admits he already knows what kind of woman he wants to spend the rest of his life with. Asked what makes someone marriage material, he said: ”A sense of ambition and a sense of freedom, which is a careful mix. You have to balance those two. I haven’t exactly found it yet.”

But the former ‘High School Musical’ actor says he is having a good time looking for Mrs. Right, and likes to improvise when it comes to chatting up the opposite sex.

Sharing his techniques, he said: ”I ask ‘so do you like ‘High School Musical’?‘

”I’m kidding! If the situation’s right, buy someone a drink. Think on your toes, use what’s around you, and come up with something organic and fun.”

And he knows a date is going well when: ”It ends up going on longer than planned … and you don’t even realize it. You don’t want it to end.”

As for the biggest compliment he’s ever been given by an admirer, Zac said: “A woman called me interesting once, and it kind of blew my mind. She said, ‘You’re one of the most interesting people I’ve ever met’, and I was like, ‘Wow’. I’m still high on that one.”

Zac Efron made it really clear that he has not met the woman of his dreams yet. Will Lily be upset or relieved?

So he slips and comes right out and says he hasn’t met the right woman yet. Whoops! Somebody’s PR flack needs to get in there and do some fake couple damage control! How about a date in the next couple of days where they get together and she calls him “interesting” and they tweeze each other’s eyebrows?  Too much? OK, then, we’ll settle for a shot of them holding hands. Coming right up!

Notice how they threw in that reference to Demi Moore? See, women of all ages want Zac Efron! Because he loves to date women, that’s why!

Aaaaaaand they’re done! Note the dates. Exactly three months from beginning to end. There was absolutely no chance that these two were going to extend their contract. The breakup announcement from UsWeekly:

Zac Efron and Lily Collins’ spring fling is over.

After just three months together, The Lucky One actor, 24, and the Mirror Mirror actress, 23, have split, multiple insiders confirm to Us Weekly exclusively.

“They’re no longer together. They were never serious, though; it was just a casual thing and it fizzled,” one insider explains. “They were never in the same place at the same time.”

A second source adds: “Zac was never very serious about her. He didn’t talk about her to friends.”

The stars were first spotted holding hands during a friend’s birthday dinner at L.A. eatery STK February 8. After that, the low-key stars — who have been photographed together only once — only grew further apart.

“It’s true that their schedules are crazy right now, which isn’t conducive to a relationship being easy,” a pal tells Us.

Prior to his relationship with Collins, Efron was in a longterm relationship with his High School Musical costar Vanessa Hudgens, 23. Collins and her Abduction costar Taylor Lautner, 20, ended their courtship in September 2011.
