I remember a Charlie Sheen interview way back when, when he said that Denise wanted him to father another child with her so that they would all have the same father. This was when he was dating crazy Brooke. Her morals maybe screwed but I guess I understand her reasoning, in a screwed up kind of way. Too many kids today are born with different baby daddies. I guess you would call her an old fashioned girl in sort of a screwed up kind of way. God Bless her.
Sorry, but I think it has much, much less to do with her caring about the kids having the same father and more about the increment that that already supposedly ‘hefty’ child support check is. Her motives are evident, especially if she is the subject of this BI. $$$$

Yeah, this would work as a guess because Denise adopted her most recent child on her own, hence no daddy to help pay for child support, whereas Charlie “Winning” Sheen pays for the other two.
I’m pretty sure that a normal person, given what Charlie Sheen gives her, could easily support a third child. Or fourth or fifth, for that matter. Maybe she should try to spend her money more wisely, and then she wouldn’t have to con some guy into adopting the child so HE would have to pay for the baby rather than her GETTING A * JOB.
I know. I’m not quite following her reasoning, but it sounds like she wants to set them up as little princesses for life. I wonder if he’ll actually agree to do this?

its actually very crazy, shortsighted and a little hard to believe. Legally speaking, why would she share any parental rights (to see the kid, etc)? In exchange for….what? more money? I know a ton of women that would trade the $$ part just to terminate the fathers having access to those kids.

Yes, clareb30! This one jumped out before I even finished reading it! If this is true, why would Denise adopt this child? At first I thought that she wanted to raise a child that she didn’t have to “share”, expose to a drug addict father, or could be the sole parental influence on. But if she’s trying to get Sambora to adopt this child, with only a month or two reconciliation after a previous failed relationship; then she’s more screwed up than I gave her credit for!
Seems to me, if this is true, Richards is up to her “alleged” old profession. Except now instead of making her living off of sexual favors, she’s making her living off of little children!!! Eeewwwww!!!

How was Denise ever allowed to adopt in the first place??? Don’t you have to prove income – didn’t think Charlie’s child support for the other 2 kids would count but apparently it does, as we all know Denise hasn’t done any real work in years. If I was Richie Sambora, I’d run far away & fast before he ends up writing a 20K child support check every month.
You forget that she has huge assets (split) from her divorce plus alimony in addition to that CS. Cash flow ain’t an issue.
I think this recent move has less to do with getting cash from Richie and more to do with pissing off Heather.

My guess is Christie Brinkley. She had her third husband adopt her second child, so there is a history of this. Her third marriage resulted in a nasty divorce, with her trying to limit the amount of time that her ex-husband spent with their kids.
Also, it is possible that Billy Joel and Brinkley re-kindled their romance in light of the time they would have spent together helping each other and their daughter (Alexa) after their daughters’ suicide attempt in 2009.
