Demi Moore is filing for divorce from Ashton Kutcher, her husband of six years, following his cheating scandal involving a San Diego party girl.
Star magazine was first to report that the couple would be ending their marriage, and on Thursday Moore, 49, made it official.
“It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton. As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life. This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation,” Moore said in a statement to the AP.
Moore and Kutcher, 33 were wed in September 2005.
The actress was previously married to Bruce Wills for 13 years. They have three children together, daughters Rumer, Scout and Tallulah.
Asking for privacy? PRIVACY?!?! Are you kidding me? Is there anyone on the planet who thinks that these two over-sharing fame mongers deserve any privacy?

While Ashton really stuck his foot in his Twitter mouth about the Penn State scandal, the football and “Marriage State Championship” reference was actually about a big lie he told on David Letterman last year about his football prowess:
In a 2010 interview on Late Night with David Letterman, Kutcher claimed to be an all-state linebacker who averaged 15 tackles per game in high school. According to a former coach, however, Kutcher played sparingly as a wide receiver on a team that won only two games in his entire high school football career.
What a tool.

Frankly, we’re a bit disappointed that these two are breaking up. They are both such big liars that their divorce will only serve to foist their deeply-flawed characters onto their next hookups. At least the divorce will be entertaining. Messy, but entertaining.

I think this is Demi and Ashton. I think the two of them are supposed to be receiving ‘counseling’ at Bruce Willis’ vacation home. Not sure who the Ashton’s friend is though.
The picture seems to indicate Kim and whatshisface but a lot of the blind doesn’t seem to bear it out. Is Kim even on speaking terms with her ex? She only had bad things to say about that time of her life. Also, Kim isn’t pretending to get back together with whatshisface. And they weren’t married long enough to accomplish ALL of this, were they?
I’m guessing Demi and Ashton, although he hasn’t taken off the wedding ring, as far as I know. The rest seems to fit.
Although I must say that I thought Kris looked mighty upset in the recent pictures of Kim visiting him in Minnesota.
And the picture and last comment seem to push more towards the both of them. Still find this one rather confusing, due to my above comments.

I have heard for SO LONG about how horrible Demi is. And her ex Bruce. And those spoiled kids of theirs. I was so sick of hearing about “poor Demi” when that woman is as horrible as Ashton if not more so because she’s been at it longer.
Ugh.
Wow, so she schtupped his best friend? That’s as low as you can go. She sure has done a good job, though, of making herself look good through all of this. I thought she lost all of that weight due to the pain of losing her husband. Maybe it’s more of fear of losing an image.
Can’t wait to hear who the friend is that she cheated with. Wonder if it killed the friendship?
