[BlindGossip] This newcomer is hunky and talented and has landed at least two very desirable lead roles in the past two years. While they may not have been huge box-office successes, they definitely gave him a higher profile in the industry.
His publicists are having a problem with him, though. He started out his career as an openly gay man. And now they are having problems pushing him back into the closet. After all, how can he land the big action leads if people know he’s gay? So, he’s been given a beard, and recent interviews have contained awkward snippets of him talking about his relationships with women, and the kinds of things he does to impress his dates. Um, sure.

I have copies of two of the articles saved on my computer, where it is obvious that he was an “out and proud” gay man.
Unless the entire human population is “Retconned” and all digital traces removed, Luke Evans will never be known as only ever being a straight actor!
Unless the producers of his new films far over-estimate their powers and thought they could in someone who was so out, why did they bother hiring him, if his sexuality was going to be an issue?

This one is very easy. It can only be Luke Evans. He outed himself in an interview for the magazine The Advocate in 2002. It’s kind of hard to pretend to be straight once you have said your gay.

I’ve never seen a situation like Luke Evens where there is so much evidence of him stating that he is a proud gay men… and then all of a sudden return back in the closet years later….Usually it is hard to find actual proof of actors with gay rumors.

We do not need any other guesses, people. it’s Luke Evans already. It really doesn’t even need to be a blind.
As an “action” star he is currently in Three Musketeers, the just released Immortals and will be in the upcoming Hobbit movies.
He play a romantic role in Tamara Drewe and was wonderful, sexy and very convincing. What does it matter if he is gay? It is sad in the day in age in order to get these types of roles in Hollywood he feels he has to play the game.

At most people are going to think he “turned straight” with time and surely the majority of the homophobes would take issue with him being gay then as much as would with him being gay now.
