[BlindGossip] While one Hollywood marriage is over because of multiple cheating scandals, another couple is using their debacle as an exercise in circling their own wagons. The second couple, who will be getting a divorce (despite their extensive denials), has had their legal teams reaching out to past and present paramours over the past few weeks to ensure that legal agreements are intact and that everyone is keeping their mouths shut. In some cases, the exes were reminded of confidentiality agreements with heavy legal penalties. In other cases, payoffs were made. You see, with this couple, revelations of extra-marital conduct would be devastating not only to their families but to their careers, since neither one is ready to come out of the closet yet. At least watching other blabbermouths come under scrutiny has had one positive effect on them: they’ve finally stopped bragging about their own fake sex life.

Wow. I’ve heard the rumors and such, but I never believe any of it until BG makes it a blind. I do remember the other BG blind about Will and Jada.
It just blows my mind that people go through all this (contracts, pay offs, fake relationships) just to keep the job and money. Really, at the end of the day, is it worth it? I think it’s sad.
Why did they even have kids? I guess they thought they could have their cake and eat it too. Like their kids weren’t messed up enough already.

Thats what I wanna know! Why have kids? If it was an “arrangement” since day 1, then thats fine (but why bother) but wow, dont bring kids into that confusion. As they get older theyre gonna feel like their whole family is fake. Poor things.
I agree. Although I have always liked Will as I find him – seemingly – sympathetic, nice and charismatic, I find it incredibly reckless and egotistic to deceive your own children – and especially to that extreme. Could you imagine finding out that your whole life was based on a lie? That not only were your parents acting on screen in Hollywood, but also acting in their private life? Terrible. I feel sorry for the kids, I really do.

It’s a tragedy people need to lie to have a career. It just perpetuates the web of deception for each succeeding generation. They can easily fool most people. But it just undermines their often considerable talents for me.
