BlindGossip – Actors usually don’t have a problem staying in control during love scenes. Since romance is blocked and rehearsed and shot under the hot lights and in front of a large crew, even the most intimate scenes are usually little more than a carefully choreographed, technical exercise.
However, on the set of this one period film, things got a little out of control. During a kissing scene between a handsome, foreign-born actor and a sexy American actress, the actress suddenly stopped and backed away a few paces from her co-star. The actor was left standing there alone. Well, he wasn’t exactly alone. He was accompanied by the incredible bulge in his pants. Filming had to be halted for several minutes while the actor cooled off.
Not Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman.

This event occurred during the filming of ‘The Other Boleyn Girl,” which also stars Natalie Portman.
When Bana started getting excited during a love scene, Johansson simply backed away and waited for assistance. According to our source on the set, Johansson was totally professional about the whole situation, and went right back into the scene after a brief “cool down” period.
Why did we mention Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman? Well, we knew that they might be likely suspects because they starred in “Moulin Rouge” together. Bana starred in “Black Hawk Down” with McGregor, and he is Australian like Kidman. And Moulin “Rouge” might have also led you to “Scarlett”. OK, that one was a stretch. Another clues was the word “incredible” (as in incredible bulge) because Eric Bana played The Incredible Hulk (But not in this movie. Because that would have been weird).

I’ll second the Bana guess. “incredible bulge”= and he played the Incredible Hulk. For the woman? It could be Scarlett or Jennifer Connelly (his co-star in Hulk).

The hints: not Ewan/Nicole from Moulin Rouge, “choreographed,” “rehearsed,” etc.
The only musical period pieces that come to mind are Nine and Chicago (there were no real sex scenes.)
There was somewhat of a sex scene at the beginning of Chicago with Dominic West and Renee Zellweger. Dominic West was born in England.

Reese spent much of the WfE press tour complaining that their love scene was “gross” due to RPatz having a snotty cold. Maybe she was more repulsed by another part of his anatomy! Also, their final scenes were remarkably unsexy. Maybe it was because of cold water thrown on the scene to cool him down.
Or maybe because he’d rather be doing the scene with Reese’s ex!

No, Colin and Scarlet don’t have a love scene in that film. Scarlet makes out with some other guy in The Girl With the Pearl earring, I forget his name but he’s not super famous.

I’m going to echo the ScarJo/Bana guess. Only because the pic is from Moulin Rouge (Rouge=Scarlet).
And not only that, but the color red is everywhere in that photo, including Nicole’s red hair (and since she’s usually a blonde these days, the choice of showing her with red hair seems a bit unusual.)
Reese and RPatz seem like a good guess as there was lots of talk about how filming their love scenes was somewhat awkward. However, is Reese generally described as “sexy”? Not really.
I don’t think Hugh Jackman would get a rise, so to speak, out of Nicole Kidman.

Funny, this is another one of those posts that doesn’t really qualify as “gossip”. It happens to most guys ten times a day! (Sorry, it’s just natural. We can’t help it). This certain event is going to happen to even the most focused of actors.
And I know quite a few actresses who have told me they take it as a compliment when it happens.
Did Jude Law have a love scene in the 2nd Sherlock Holmes? Period piece movie and he is kind of a horndog.

There is no “technically” about it. A U.S. state is a U.S. state is a U.S. state. And born in one = “American.”
Technically would be the correct term. Technically (according to the facts) she is both Australian and American holding dual citizenship although she is generally thought of as an Australian actress.

It’s pretty clearly Eric Bana and ScarJo. The Australian connection (using a Luhrmann film as a “not”; Bana is Australian), the use of the color red in the photo (Scarlett), the verbal clue of “incredible” (Bana played the Hulk). This next one may be reaching a bit, but in Hanna, Bana’s character lived in Finland above the arctic circle (“cooled off”). The period film is The Other Boleyn Girl.
The Other Boleyn Girl’s been the alleged subject of blind items before, too (it was the popular guess in a blind about an expensive dress that was destroyed in a cigarette accident).
Oh, and I think the “not” is also a clue that the blind doesn’t necessarily involve a terribly recent film. So it doesn’t “have” to be, say, Water for Elephants.
Why would anyone even freak out? Id take the compliment and move right on. Id EXPECT that, actually.
