that is a perfect guess! I would never consider her ‘American’ but obviously US born. No gender allotted to the designer but I am going to guess Roberto Cavalli. His wife Eva is a lot younger than him and their kids seem to be late teens to 20s. They would fit.
Actually son and daughter are both 20s having researched. She has a young child but he is a designer/musician/fame seeker so could fit.
Maybe Oscar de la Renta, he has a son in his 20s. I would think it would be a New York based designer. She would have to go to Italy if it we Cavalli to be fitted in his atelier for a custom piece.

I like the Sienna Miller guess. It was big scandal when Jude Law had an affair with their nanny, but she’s fooled around too. As someone else mentioned, she was in “Edge of Love” and also played Edie Sedgwick, which could be construed as being edgy/out there. She’s turned into kind of a fashion icon now so it wouldn’t be a big deal for her to have custom fittings.
