BlindGossip – This actress loved Halloween as a kid and complained to friends that she really missed the ritual of Trick or Treating. So she did something about it. She bought a regular Halloween costume and went door-to-door in her neighborhood pretending to be a kid.
Since she is quite tiny in person, it wasn’t that difficult for her to pass. As long as it was dark and she kept her costume on. She was totally into it, and even consulted with other kids on the street to find out which houses were giving out the “good candy”. Oh, and true to form, if she felt the person doing the Treating was being stingy with the candy, she would ask for more. So if anyone in one of the ritzier neighborhoods in LA remembers a rather pushy older kid negotiating for a second Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup, it just may have been our actress.

I thought the same thing. In the extras section of the Veronica Mars dvd she talks about how much she loves Halloween and can’t imagine NOT trick-or-treating. She then joked that she’d go even as an old lady and it’d be okay cause people would just think it was a wicked costume!

In spite of the possibility that “Reese” is a clue, I think it would have to be someone who doesn’t have kids. Any parent knows they can go out with their kids, door to door, and no one thinks anything of it.
Reese’s must be a clue, but I have seen Kristin Chenoweth in person and in costume, she surely could pass as a child.

She’s not alone. I walked a couple miles through a good area of my city, and saw packed crowds of trick or treaters. Among them were small groups of young adults, or late teeners. They were having such a wonderful time!
