BlindGossip – This superstar actor/ actress couple is hiding a secret about one of their parents. Although they haven’t always had a smooth relationship with her father, they are now spending more time with him. Sadly, he has been diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimers. It’s getting to the point where he can’t remember the name/s of his own grandchild/ren. While work and travel commitments keep the couple busy 24/7, they do try to talk to Dad every day via the internet. Don’t expect anyone in the family to disclose any details about his illness any time soon, though, because Dad is still in the public eye and the couple will not do anything to jeopardize his work.
I’m guessing it might be Angelina Jolie and her dad Jon Voight since it said “they haven’t always had a smooth relationship…” but then again, just a guess.

Yep, Angie, Brad & Jon Voight. Glad that they have reconciled though. Hope his treatments help.
But if Voight is filming a new television series, how is he able to do that if he’s already diagnosed with Alzheimer’s? Voight wasn’t my first guess, my first guess was Kirk Douglas, with Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones as the superstar couple.
voight – that explains why they even reconciled during that time when he was making his public political appearances supporting the republicans. but is it that easy to name all the grandkids in that family off the top of your head?
IF it is Voight, some doctor has some explaining to do to the network. Actors for movies and TV usually undergo extensive physicals before they are hired. Too much money is invested in TV and movies to risk. Voight is filming a new TV show now.
If it’s St. Angie’s dad I wouldn’t blame the “can’t remember his grandchildrens’ names” part on Alzheimers – they just have a loooot of children and even I, 23 years of age, cannot determine who is who in this zoo. Hey that was a rhyme. I should be a rapper.

I definitely wasn’t making a joke about Alzheimers. It is a very sad & scary existence which i’ve seen firsthand and wouldn’t wish on anyone. Well, maybe Paris Hilton – ok, now THAT was rude.
i think when you have any wording that resembles the name of the site it moderates it to makes sure you are not putting up something negative about the site.
Oh, good point on the “early onset” portion of it. Hmm, well, Jon Voight is looking more like the candidate.
