BlindGossip – The folks who create the seating chart for the Golden Globes received a request from the team of this previous Golden Globes Award nominee/winner that she be seated as far away from another celebrity as possible at Sunday’s ceremony. Although their breakup wasn’t recent, it had been ugly, and they still typically avoid each other whenever possible. You see, although their original relationship was a setup, she thought that their relationship had gone from fake to real over time and that she was The One. She wasn’t, and she was genuinely hurt when he moved on to another fake relationship. It’s always a little funny and sad to see the fake smile she puts on whenever his name is mentioned. Then again, her entire face was oddly tight at the awards show. Snip, snip!

Jen was my first thought as well because Tate Donovan (“Damages”) was at the awards and they broke up years ago and I just recently read an article where he approached her and she was excited to see him. Could be fake excitment! Also, “The One” is in all caps and she was in a movie titled, “She’s the One.” Though, I don’t think her face looked really tight at the awards, I think Paula has called it.
And I just realized… Cameron Diaz was in the same movie so it could also be her.

Yes, so it’s probably not them. If it were enough of a problem to be seated far from each other at an awards show, then there’s no way doing a movie together would be agreed to in the first place – the photo op for it is irrelevant.

I am guessing that the guy in question is not an actor but rather a comedien, singer or multi-talented. It may even be a celebrity director or producer. I’m also guessing that since she called ~before~ the event she was unsure whether or not he was going so the man wouldn’t necessarily need to be an attendee.

This tells me that the relationship would have needed to last longer than a simple date or two. I would guess at least a couple of months. I would also guess that they were photographed together at some point or at some awards show to justify the fake relationships (to put on a show).
