Not Jake and Reese. For one, he’s gay, she’s his beard and she knows it – so there’s no “double life” to speak of. Another factor is the obligation for them to “attend certain key events” – when has Jake and Reese ever attended industry events together as a couple? Never, unless you want to count one Vanity Fair Oscar after-party to which she forced him to escort her (look at her holding his hand when they enter, she has a deathgrip on him so tight the circulation is cut off and his hand is white).

Tea Leoni and David Duchovny are not going to events for the publicist. They are together as man and wife. How would doing that be helpful. Who the hell cares if any star has broken up. I’d still go to see their work one way or the other.

Late post, but guessing Tim Robbins and Susan Sarandon – reaching, but trying to get my first solved! LOL!
No, they were a different blind about a long term but unmarried couple. This one is Reese and Jake all the way except for the “seeing them together occasionally” part. Something went wrong with the timing of the final ending of this showmance. Jake looked as happy as a lark but Reese looked like she wanted to spit nails for the first week or so. Now she’s on a campaign to be photographed shopping and smiling almost every day. (Except she’s taken a little Xmas break.) I’m eagerly following both Reese and Jake for their next moves. This is as much fun as a movie!
