BlindGossip – There is an actor on a television series who seems like he would be an interesting character to live with. That might not be the case for his wife, however. A couple of weeks ago, our actor came home from work a lot earlier than usual and found his wife in the hot tub with a neighbor of theirs. The neighbor, who is also an actor, is best known for his role on a classic TV show. The wife and neighbor, who were sitting on the same side of the hot tub and were somewhat intertwined when the actor emerged from the house, both jumped up, obviously startled. The neighbor explained that they were in the hot tub together because he had pulled his hamstring muscle playing tennis earlier that day, and the actor’s wife had been kind enough to let him use the hot tub, to show him some stretching exercises, and to share a glass of wine with him. While we don’t know if there is a generally accepted seating plan when it comes to neighbors and hot tubs, we think that this particular arrangement sounds mighty suspicious.

Yes, there is. You sit on opposite sides so you can play footsie.
The second actor sounds like Matt Perry. The way the title is written sounds similar to the Friends titles that say The One with … If BG did that here, it wouldn’t be blind. Anyway, he is a tennis player, pretty good, too.
“an interesting character to live with” maybe from a show about people who live together? 2 and a half Men perhaps?
Obviously someone from a crime drama. Or maybe the actor in the hot tub played Sheriff Amos on Murder She Wrote?
Any significance to the half-moon in the sky in the picture, you think?
Moonlighting…just brainstorming, here…
Dwight Shrute seems like an interesting to live with.
first person who came to mind. rainn wilson. also the barrel reminds me of a farm, and his character is all about being from the farm.
In the title, is “Neigbor” just a typo?
Were they naked or clothed?
they were fully clothed.
How do you know this? There is no mention of whether they were wearing bathing suits or nude. I would assume they were not nude because I think that if they were naked, that would be mentioned in the item, but it doesn’t say…
why would anyone be fully clothed in a bath tub?!
i think they meant were they in their bathing suits or birthday suits.?
wtf? how bland is this?
agree, they’d have to be nekkid to make this interesting!
I feel like I’ve seen Eric Dane in tennis gear before.
Oh yeah! And he is skeezy enough to move on someone else’s wife.
dr mcSLEAZY. Ewwwwww
Just brainstorming here:
“Case” and “mighty suspicious” make me think one of the male actors was/is on a crime or law show.
The wife was showing the other guy stretching exercises. So the wife is (maybe) assumably someone sporty or big into yoga or the like?
The “interesting character to live with” makes me think that the show he’s on has something to do with the word “home” (House?) or “living” or something to that affect.
The “obviously startled” wording sets my Spidey senses tingling. Not sure why.
“Seating Plan” makes me think of weddings or restaurants.
Okay, I got nothing! Lol!
lol
haha A+ for effort
Wow, I have a comment in moderation that has no curse words, innuendo or website listed. Earlier I posted something about “blowing” someone and it got right through.
What IS up with the comment moderation? Is it like being at the airport, where they randomly stop some innocent looking person and strip search them, “just in case”?
Are our comments being violated? Come on BG, let our comments go!
I think so. I’ve had comments on moderation where all I did was mention a name. Seems to be random. Kind of a pain, though.
*Sigh* I give up. My comment about my comment being moderated is in moderation.
Truly hilarious!!!!! I don’t get it either!!!!!! It is absolutely “F-R-U-S-T-R-A-T-I-N-G!!!!!”
Agreed! It’s like 2 out of every 3 posts I make is on moderation, no matter what I say. What gives? I’m new to posting here, so figured maybe that had something to do with it, but I don’t know.
I can seeif there are certain words flagged for moderation, no swearing allowed through but it would be pretty lousy if certain NAMES were being flagged. I too have had remarks moderated with nothing written that I would consider out of bounds along with an actors name.
I think following key words are always moderated: any swear word, any name of a blogger (Perez, ENTY, Lainey) and of course John Mayer
Sending comment which will be moderated in 4231…
So I’m really trying to think about this. I have two possible actors in mind for the tennis player in the hot tub but still trying to figure out who the actor was that caught him.
I’m thinking Matthew Perry or Jon Lovitz for the tennis player with a pulled hamstring. Both stars play tennis. Matthew Perry was in Friends (a CLASSICly loved show) whereas Jon Lovitz was in SNL an actual classic show. I guess it depends on the interpretation of the word classic TV show.
Let’s go with Matthew Perry. Why would anyone want to get frisky with Jon Lovitz in a hot tub?
defintiely detective… it says case suspicious
interesting character… note it doesnt say a network TV star… Tony Shalub? …is monk a detective?
I thinks it Simon Baker of the Mentalist and Matthew Perry.
How about Will Ferrel from SNL?

Wait, wait! Case, suspicious, tennis?
How about David Duchovny?
Classic show: X-files – they had cases, and Mulder was suspicious of everything.
Also, he was accused of having an affair with his tennis coach.
Heck, he could be either actor, as his new character on Californication would definitely be an interesting character to live with, lol!
Ding Ding Ding
I think the Matt Perry guess is a good one, now, where does he live and who are his neighbors? lol I canNOT see anyone intertwined with Jon Lovitz willingly, dont want to imagine it. Might the actor arriving home be someone from the USA network of shows, they advertise as having interesting characters.
That’s what I was thinking… “characters welcome”. I still got nothing though!
I’ve been able to find his address online. He lives in the Hollywood Hills, but can’t find anything about who else might live on his street.
try the Shaloubs, or one of hte other names popping up to see if they might live close enough to ‘borrow’ a cup of ‘sugar’
“Interesting character to live with” sounds like the guy from Monk.
I agree with heresathought…this is definitely Monk, and if so, I hope he kicks her to the curb. No one messes my Monk!
How about Dexter and his new wife? Dexter is certainly an interesting character to live with, no? Not sure who the neighbor is though…
His wife is also on the show (plays his sister). She’d be at work with him.
David Duchovny as the neighbor. Didn’t he have an affair with his tennis instructor?
Love the Matt Perry guess — that guy is still single/horny and I wouldn’t be surprised if he went after another guy’s wife!
Can he BE any more obvious? lol, just had to throw that in there.
For some reason, Thomas Jane of Hung comes to mind for the actor who seems like he would be an interesting character to live with.
That might not be the case for his wife: Judging from the series, which I do watch, a Medium isn’t much fun to live with – Patricia Arquette.
And, I’m choosing Scott Bakula for the neighbor best known for his role on a classic TV show. He looks similar to Arquette’s hubby, Jane, & it wouldn’t take a Quantum Leap for me to see her canoodling with him.

thinking outside of the box, like it!
I like the Monk idea. He is on USA which is the network with all the “character” commercials. There are other leads, but Monk is interesting. It does sound like law enforcement. Monk is always looking for his wife, right? No idea who the tennis player is.
